Best brewery in Oklahoma!
Beer is Great!! Not just good! Not a beer chick…. Well other then sour ales and our friend Brandon told us about the place, and we ate the bison witch across the street before we tried it.
So we thought we’d grab a beer here well we started with the pickle at the disco and had to have another ? then started to dig into the menu……. and we had the smurf berry, severed autonomy then finished with the chazzzzzzberry ???? ? and We loved everything we tried?
and the price is reasonable and they have “hobby hour” ?
Always friendly people & great beerses!
Such a chill place to grab a beer.
Was out for training and took a walk to town and found Beer is Good Brewing Co. nice vibes and beers were good, not much In the way of food but definitely a good place to try some local brew.
Great beers, chill vibes. Can’t wait to show up for bingo nights and soccer games. Matt was working the bar, he had great info about local area and the beers.
Great beer, good live music, cool vibe
Wow. What a great find! Everything we tried we liked. Staff was awesome and very well versed in the beers and history of the brewery.
Good brewery & friendly staff
Wonderful brews, nice atmosphere, and the best bartender ever is what we found at this place. Imperial Bourbon Barrel Stouts, IPAs, Sours, Cervasas, light and medium beers means everyone will find something they love here. Speaking for myself, the two Barrel-Aged IPSs are top-notch but not quite as awesome as our bar tender, Kirsten, who knew every beer and tailored suggestions based on our own person preferences. We will definitely digress off our planned path in the future to visit again.

Highly recommend the Apples Apples Apples beer. Soooo good! Lots of good choices. The Hazy is a little dry, but still good!
One of our favorite brewery's in Norman. The owners and staff are awesome!! The beers are great and the taps are always changing!!
Went to this bar twice. Beer is too sweet. The last excursion out was during their bingo event? Idk some woman talking about colonization and yada yada on loud speaker. I happily decolonized this bar and wont be back
University cities often have that old town-and-gown dichotomy going on, and Norman OK is no different. It’s like that old Venus-and-Mars thing used to describe the differences between men and women.I found myself in Norman (home of OU) to shoot photos of two old theatres, and naturally worked up a thirst. Beer Is Good (BIG) is located in the traditional downtown part of Norman, more than a mile from campus. And it took me a New York second to quickly realize I was among locals, not the campus community. The brewery (I never once saw a wort kettle or fermenter) looks and feels more like a tavern, which is fine. It works. The place was decked out in a Nightmare Before Christmas motif, and the big screens showed Texas destroying OSU in football. I’m betting everyone in there was rooting for Texas, if only because of the OU/OSU rivalry.I went with a flight, as is my M.O. They had enough IPAs to do four in a row, starting with Road To El Dorado SMASH (6.6%ABV), and continuing with Clockwork Orange Juice (6.8%ABV), Real Fake Limes (8.6%ABV), and Straight Outta Compton (8.3%ABV). They were all approachable IPAs, each with unique flavor profiles. But it was the Compton that piqued my curiosity, its subtle malty finish raising my eyebrows in a delightful way. It is no small feat to brew hop-forward yet malt on the back side; I ordered a pint of it, again my standard procedure. Best-in-flight deserves a pint of its own. I enjoyed my visit. The crowd was much more sedate than what you would expect in a college town. Two thumbs up.
Love love the beer. Omg. So good. Come by. Have one. Worth the time
