Had a great time at Billy Sim's BBQ recently! The BBQ and sides were tasty. Shoutout to Miguel for being awesome. He answered all of our questions and was very friendly, making the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the mood for some good eats and friendly vibes!

I'm a regular here but I'm not gonna be no more. I usually get the Schooner Salad but everytime I get it the lettuce is old and clear and the barbecue ranch dressing has separated. I usually bring a guest too and most of the time he has to pick apart his pork sandwich because there's old dried out sections of it that you can't chew... The staff doesn't look busy and are mostly smoking outback when I arrive so I have no idea what's going on.

I ordered this via Doordash for the first time ever trying it. To say I was impressed would be an understatement. I ordered the 4 4 rib dinner, with beans and loaded potato salad. I added chopped brisket for a few dollars extra. These ribs just fell off the bone. Absolutely melt in your mouth, no utensils needed, no sauce needed, just pure deliciousness. Once they hit my mouth, I forgot I even asked for BBQ sauce. The beans were the perfect blend of BBQ and sweetness, not to mushy, but perfectly cooked. The loaded potato salad, let me tell you, that is slap ya mamma in the mouth good!! The portions were plentiful, and I had to wait til the next morning to enjoy my brisket. Once again, I am just flabbergasted at the amount of flavor and smokey goodness that are contained in each bite. Not greasy, not dry, just a perfect balance of meaty vs. Juicy. I then indulged in the enormous banana pudding dessert. The velvety pudding and crunchy wafers make the perfect "just sweet enough" after dinner dessert. I will definitely be back to try more of this menu, but this time 10/10.

I first ate at this Billy Sims restaurant about two months ago while meeting with a group. Since then it's become a go-to spot for all sorts of events, from meals out with my wife to casual lunches with friends.
It's kind of weird that I'm writing a glowing review of this store because quite frankly, I'd had not-so-great experiences at another Billy Sims restaurant several years ago. I'd avoided the chain altogether since then. When I walked in I was not happy our group chose this location to meet. But I walked out pleasantly surprised.
People primarily go to restaurants for good food, and excels in that area. Everything I've tried has been tasty and warm. I love that meats are smoked in such a way that the process enhances them instead of smothering the true flavors.
Billy Sims sauces really complement their meats. Nothing I've ordered has been greasy, which can't be said of all BBQ places.
Portions are good while prices are reasonable, resulting a great value. Staff members have always been friendly and patient while I decide on which new thing to try on that visit.
Their dining room and prep area has always been clean, with plenty of parking just outside the door...two things I really appreciate.
I've now eaten here four times, and for one visit traveled 20 miles one way for a meal. I suppose that makes the place a "local destination restaurant."
If you're looking for some really good barbecue at a reasonable price, stop in here. Maybe you'll be as delighted with it as I am.
My favorite BBQ! We drive up from Dallas for this; always consistent quality and friendly service. Ribs are phenomenal, pulled pork is the best around, and their jalapeno cheddar hot links are great. Really good sauces too. While I'm at it, love that mac & cheese and corn, while my wife always goes for the baked potato salad.
I had the pleasure of going into the Billy Sims that's located in Norman,Ok today after work. I made a to go order of a pound of sliced brisket & a pound of chopped brisket... Just to let you guy's know, this was some of the BEST barbecue I've had in a long time!!!! Also the employee's were very polite & professional ☆☆☆☆☆

This location is great, I didn't know you can substitute a side for a rib. BBQ is tender and the ribs were delicious. Free flowing sauce on tables sweet, hickory and spicy. Sauce and spice available for sale
