Food was in really good! And the service is mediocre.Would leave 3 stars but the service of our waiter was incredible! The reason for 4 stars is the wait was over 30min, management kept telling us we were next and other people were sat before us. I had to keep asking instead of them updating us.The kitchen and the staff working in the bad were amazing. The food was hot and filling. Very flavorful!

This place is now Crow & Co, and it's great! No smoking anymore, and it's been remodeled to be really nice on the inside. The staff is fantastic and they serve food from Blackbird downstairs. This is definitely my new favorite bar in town!

I have eaten at Blackbird a couple of times a month and overall like the food and service and wait staff was always excellent. two nights ago my wife daughter and I were setting on the back patio. There are 11 tables back there and we were to only ones there. just before our food got there someone came out and started moving tables around then brought a group of 8-10 people and sit them next to us so close we had to move our chairs to let them in (Remember there are 10 empty tables some already sit up for large groups. We could not even talk to each other because of the noise and of course moved to a different area. I asked my waiter if it was someone new that did that and he said no it was the manager. No one said I'm sorry you had to move, we made a mistake nothing. The next morning I sent a email asking why and no response. we have been going there for the past 8 years it is apparent that when they make a mistake they don't care.

We started with chips and queso. The chips were blue corn. The queso was delicious. I had the light portion of the roasted chicken with mashed potatoes. The chicken was very flavorful and the mashed potatoes were wonderful. My daughter got the pot pie that was different. Flaky crust but the inside was thicker with gravy. My wife enjoyed the spicy chickpea taco salad. Our server was attentive and friendly.

This review is based solely on today's visit. This is normally a go to spot for great food and drinks, amazing waitstaff and friendly hostesses. Today was not that day. We were met by a hostess that ask how many.. not the usual "Welcome to black bird"... we were sat very quickly and our waiter came over after about 5 minutes and got the drink order, we ordered our apps and entree's and another round of drinks. The apps came out in about 15 minutes and were good. I ordered the duck (which I usually highly recommend!) and the wife got the chicken pizza . I ask for the duck rare and to cook the skin a little crispy. When the entrees finally came out, you can tell they have need sitting under the heat lamp a while. My duck came out well done and the skin was rubbery. Wife's pizza was way overcooked and the chicken on it was hard, like a rock hard... we brought it to the waiters attention, when we could finally pry him away from sitting down at his friends table, pointed out the over cook on everything... his reply, well, they did their best! Really? Not oh man, let me have them fix it. He then walked away and sat back down at his buddies table. I had to get up and go to the bar to order a glass of wine, he couldn't be bothered. We finished our drinks and took everything to go ... gave it to the dog... very disappointed with the service and food today.

You can enjoy some good English pub food at this restaurant. I think all your menu items are fairly priced here and the comfort food is enjoyable. I had the bangers and mash and was happy with my order. The sausages were grilled perfectly and the mashed potatoes were well whipped and tasty. There can sometimes be a wait here on the weekends, but it's a good option right around OUs campus.

But it seemed to be selectively slow ??♀️ my two friends that had been there for awhile were getting their drinks almost immediately after they had ordered them while I was waiting awhile on the drinks that I had ordered even though I had ordered my drinks before them! So then after not being checked on for awhile I decided to go up to the bar because I was ready for another drink. I patiently waited for five minutes. While one bartender was sitting down having a drink. The other was playing a game of cards with her self and the other was working. None of them even said hey I’ll be with you shortly. Finally we asked if we could get help and they asked what we needed. Finally when we decided to tab out my one friend didn’t leave a tip on her card. And one of the bartenders had the audacity to come to our table and say "WAS THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOUR SERVICE? BECAUSE USUALLY PEOPLE TIP ON TABS LIKE THIS" Maybe my friend was about to tip in cash? It sucks because the drinks were really good but I won’t go back to a place that EXPECTS tips. Although I’m aware that tips are how y’all make a living because I’m also in a tipping position you don’t get tips by asking people why they didn’t tip.

This place was amazing! And very inexpensive! I got the pulled pork fries with the fried egg on top. This was so good. You need to share with at least 2 more friends because the portion size is enormous. For my entree I ended up getting chicken pot pie. This was very delicious and there was a lot of pastry. It has peas, chicken, and mushrooms. The only thing I wish it had were carrots

My loving husband (God bless his comfort food craving little black heart) went for two shots of single malt whiskey, the warm bacon salad with Gorgonzola, the pot roast with truffle oil-infused mashed potatoes, some slow cooked carrots, and (his favorite!) some jalapeño cornbread. He went without me, though, and was in the doghouse when I got home. Damn it. (In all fairness, I WAS out of town when he went, but I'm still gonna hold a grudge just for the sake of all grudges everywhere.) He said the service was quite efficient and pleasant.
