We started with chips and queso. The chips were blue corn. The queso was delicious. I had the light portion of the roasted chicken with mashed potatoes. The chicken was very flavorful and the mashed potatoes were wonderful. My daughter got the pot pie that was different. Flaky crust but the inside was thicker with gravy. My sister enjoyed the spicy chickpea taco salad. Our server was attentive and friendly.

My salmon entree with a mushroom risotto and blistered fresh green beans was just what I needed before heading out into the cold evening. My companion ordered the duck breast and mentioned that it was a little dry. The service was attentive and nice. The glass of red house wine was a bit disappointing with way too much unwelcome residue, though. Otherwise, it was a great spot to check out and I was pleased with the overall value.

This was our second time here. First time was great. Second not so good. Didn't have my beer or his cocktail that were on the menu. We ordered a flight and they substituted the Crown XR for REGULAR crown. The waitress and manager had no clue what was going on. My cocktail didn't taste good so we canceled our food order of which we were very excited about. Paid for my bad cocktail and wrong flight and got out of there.

Fantastic food and great ambiance!For appetizers, we had guacamole and chips. We requested no spice and they obliged. We also had meatballs in bbq sauce and chives with a gorgonzola mac and cheese, soo good! I had the pulled pork, mushroom quesadilla with a white cheese and pimento cheese, with sides of salsa, sour cream.Hubby had blackened shrimp with cheesy grits in a creole sauce that he loved. His plate was clean! ?Our friend said you can't go wrong with any of the dishes with pulled pork or roast beef. The roast beef sliders sound amazing!

It was a really nice place. Reasonably priced & great service. We both got the Porterhouse Pork Chop w/ Fig & Port Reduction (sauce was in a separate dish) grilled w/ Carrots & Truffle Oil Mashed Potatoes. Nice portions. $20/plate. We will definitely be going back.

I have eaten at Blackbird a couple of times a month and overall like the food and service and wait staff was always excellent. two nights ago my wife daughter and I were setting on the back patio. There are 11 tables back there and we were to only ones there. just before our food got there someone came out and started moving tables around then brought a group of 8-10 people and sit them next to us so close we had to move our chairs to let them in (Remember there are 10 empty tables some already sit up for large groups. We could not even talk to each other because of the noise and of course moved to a different area. I asked my waiter if it was someone new that did that and he said no it was the manager. No one said I'm sorry you had to move, we made a mistake nothing. The next morning I sent a email asking why and no response. we have been going there for the past 8 years it is apparent that when they make a mistake they don't care.

Has some great food choices and good atmosphere. The tater kegs (appetizer) are delicious. The gravy on the brunch poutine was a little too salty for me, as if I got the last scrape in the pan or something, but overall nice place to come on campus corner.

Immediately greeted & seated. When ordering alcohol (& you look young enough) they take your ID somewhere...not sure what they do with it. Food came really quickly after ordering. Loaded Pub Fries were the hero of this visit -very good, hot & fresh. I ordered the Bourbon Smash & a Smoked Bacon & Gorgonzola Salad. Both were kind of eh. Luckily, the prices were as such that I wasn't completely upset about it being eh.
Our drink didn’t have alcohol in it $9…My friend’s ID was taken to the back and then they gave it back 15minutes later all scratched up.The Jager bomb was warm….The burges were mediocre.Pretzels were still a little frozen, but tasted okay. Other than that it was great. Oh and our waiter had an attitude

One of my favorite places my wife and I to go and not expensive either. Usually we get the chicken pot pie and Sheppards pie, but tonight we tried the bangers and mash as well as the street tacos and wasn’t disappointed. Highly recommend this place
