Nikki is absolutely talented! She can do what no one else can do!

I ordered a hedgehog cupcake cake with 12 vanilla and 12 chocolate cupcakes for my daughter’s 8th birthday. I confirmed the details over email, spoke with someone on the phone, and even provided a photo. Unfortunately, what I received was not what I ordered — instead of a cupcake cake, I was given 24 individual vanilla cupcakes. My daughter was disappointed, and we had to scramble to find chocolate cupcakes last minute. Very disappointed in the mistake and the lack of attention to detail.

I ordered a custom cake from byrdies and I was blown away! I wanted to surprise my husband with a recreated cake topper from our wedding cake for our 10yr anniversary. I think I called 5 different places before I byrdies because everyone was booked. She was so sweet, gave me her cell, I sent the pic of our cake and we texted back and forth. I was honestly just expecting piped on flowers and she went and found real flowers and peacocks feathers to put on it. It turned out beautiful and tasted amazing. A lot goes to show to support small businesses like this!

I love little family owned eateries especially bakeries cause you know it's fresh they got up early and make three desserts by scratch just like Grandma's 😋

Im so confused by this place. The atmosphere is GORGEOUS! it's so divine and whimsical inside. But.... I came in sweating from it being super hot outside, never been in before and asked if they had anything cold? Right off the bat, the lady was super awkward... and just strange. She just listed off different types of cakes.. I asked, oh ok well do you have any water? Again super awkward like, pointed behind me and said only bottle water, so I proceeded to go get it myself. (Totally fine) then I saw a different menu area with lunch tips items, I had to ask is that available? She... again take awkwardly said no that side of the store is closed. Anyways, I stayed and had a brookie and a water.. she hid in the back watching her phone the whole time. For such a beautiful place, the rest of the experience lacks social skills among customer service of any sorts. Also, the brookie wasn't very good. It was dry and not anything special.. so disappointing for such a gorgeous interior.

Entering the establishment, I immediately noticed how dirty the floor is. My mom and I were the only 2 customers. There were two employees sitting at a table south of the entrance. They appeared to be doing work. They absolutely ignored us. I finally politely asked if we could purchase a desert. The lady begrudgingly said that we could. Then, I had to ask her if we could sit down and eat. She handed me two forks. We each had a cake desert … 17.40 for two small pieces of dried up flavorless cake. The ambience is interesting, but it’s just a big mess. Not to mention, it smelled musty in there. Nope, never going back. I advise nobody to waste your money there.

First off, I want to say that my initial experience was great. I reached out to Nikki to do the desserts and cake for my wedding and she was really nice and accommodating of my budget and needs. We paid to have her deliver the cake to my outdoor reception and set up the dessert bar about an hour prior to start. I had let her know that there was a refrigerator on site, assuming that’s where the cake would go until right before cutting it. It was 90 degrees outside and had been set directly in the sun on the table designated for the cake. It had been sitting there for about 30 min before my sister saw it and ran it inside but it was too late. To my surprise when it came time to cut the cake, it had melted and was a complete mess. I was also surprised to find that it wasn’t a traditional wedding cake flavor and was buttercream icing which was even worse in the heat. Nikki told me that my family who was helping set up the event should’ve known to get the cake in the refrigerator and that it was not her job. I was under the impression that it was her job since we paid a fee for it to be delivered. She also told me that it was my fault that I chose to have an outdoor reception, which might have been valid had there not been a giant walk-in fridge just a few feet away. I am pretty disappointed as this is my one and only wedding cake and was really looking forward to it. She did offer to make me a new cake but there isn’t much I can do with another wedding cake. She would not offer any sort of partial refund.
Overall, her desserts taste good, people really raved about them. I would just encourage very detailed instructions and communication to any future customers.

Unfortunate experience on custom cake order. Had multiple conversations and drew pictures of what we wanted. Picked cake up as planned and it was not at all what we had designed or discussed for the final order. Also cakes did not fit in a box so transport to event was incredibly difficult and cakes did not fare well. Cake tasted good but fell apart while serving. Cannot in good conscience recommend.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE! We found the absolutely right bakery to order some pastries for my youngest stepson's 17th birthday. I'm not even sure how we came across Byrdie's but when I heard the name, it was so unique. I knew we needed to try it. And try it we did and we ordered a mixture of pastries for his birthday. It is great when everyone loves them but especially when the birthday boy says, "Those were the best pastries I've ever had." And that was said by a teenage boy who doesn't throw compliments out very often. When he does, you know he means it. Chocolate éclairs, OU sugar cookies, Danishes, and cinnamon rolls were our spread. Each delectable treat could have been the prize-winning treat from a baking show. I would wholeheartedly recommend visiting Nikki at Byrdie's by Raspberries N' Creme. She serves sweets, lunch, caters, and more. Check her out on Instagram and Facebook. You will NOT regret it.

I love this place. I read the one star reviews because I was thinking who would ever give this bakery a 1. Anyway, some people are really cranky. I looooove the take home dinners. All the baked goods I have tried are delicious. I always take some chicken salad to go. This is my favorite place to stock up on delicious food. This bakery makes my dinners so much easier. (I quit cooking after the pandemic. Some people got work burnout, I got domestic duty burnout).

I’ve been to Byrdie’s for lunch, and it was delicious! I also met with the owner Nikki to plan an event at the restaurant, and she was so lovely and accommodating! Super cute atmosphere and great hospitality! Definitely swing by and grab a slice of Ribbon Cake when you can!
