Every time my wife and I go there they seat us at a booth in the farthest back corner of the restaurant. Even when there is hardly anyone in the place. We are made to walk all the way to the back of the restaurant with our bad knee. When we asked why it was, it so that the staff doesn't have to walk so far. REALLY staff over customer. Then when we leave they have customers seated in the front middle and anywhere. Definitely not coming back, there are way to many restaurants in Norman who are more courteous to their customers.

Good food and good service. This was our first time eating there. We opted to be seated at the bar because it was Friday night and there was a 20 minute wait for a table. I'd like to go back someday.

The chicken fried steak was amazing. They also had pretty good red beans and rice which is hard to find with it done right outside of certain areas. So good job. We even had teenagers and preteens and they enjoyed their meals as well. Overall it was a good place with good service and I didn't feel like we waited an eternity for food. With a table of 6 we were in and out within about an hour. The only issue we ran into was the table pay system wasn't working correctly and had to wait for server to come back to pay out.

The waiter was lazy and slow didn't want to take Any orders instead directed us to use the kiosk machine and when we were asked for refills they were late not to mention the waiter was being unprofessional calling my wife and sister in law names like sweetheart and honey and hun and he wasn't old at all he was probably in his early thirties and told my they can pick any drink they like im kind of disappointed as this not only reflects on the character of the staffing and company but the town of Norman as how people carry themselves morally growing up you didn't tell other people's kids what they can have when I was a kid growing up it would be acceptable if the waiter or waitress was like ok if you can finish this Sunday or some desert or meal your parents already bought you that they wouldn't charge you for it and that they would even get you another one to take home free with whatever you wanted on it but even then behind the child's back they would still get an OK from the parents our kids aren't even above the age of 5 so we don't let them have any pop, it was a little upsetting but as for as the store aside from the waiter they took for ever to get our food out to us by then the kids finished there food and wanted to go home and we still were in the process of getting our food we were so hungry we waited so long to be done in ten minutes it's like a pyramid scheme to keep people from having a good family time and conversing with one another while eating so they eat and leave immediately hope everyone else has a good evaluation of the place but we're not coming back there food wasn't all that good but it wasn't bad it definitely wasn't priced right though that's for sure. Our lunch basically turned into dinner.

I would like write a review about Cheddars. My friend and I were eating dinner when they lost power Saturday night 11-15 amongs other businesses and homes. I would like to say that even though this situation was out of their control, the manager and his staff stayed calmed, came together as a team and worked together to figured out what they could do and what they couldn't do. Some of the staff were supposed to be off work, but they stayed to help out were they could. The Manager was asking his staff for volunteers to come in and help himself and the day shift to get ready for Sunday before they opened. In my opinion he showed that he is a great manager to work for and that his title doesn't mean that he cant help when he is needed. I would to thank you guys for your service.

They were out of things, mine you this is a Tuesday at 2ish. The steak was 80%fat so it was not edible or seasoned well. You can get a better steak at I hop sadly. The appetizer was limited because of the lack of product. It was my first time there and last. A waste to money but I will say the server was wonderful. Underwhelming is the word for cheddar's.
