I ate at 6pm Saturday night. Not much room at all up front for people waiting on seats. I went to the bar .Only one guy working the bar for an entire restaurant full. The grill tasted like it needed cleaned. Steak was incredibly tender for a sirloin. I think I offended the bartender for asking for a menu. I was pretty disappointed with the friendliness and overall feel of interactions. Before I even got my food I was ready to leave. Seemed very stuffy and the bar was cold. I was the only one at the bar and he was staring at his computer or hiding in the back most of the time. Menu seems to have condensed alot which was definitely less overwhelming...
Service at the bar was fine. I ordered chicken tenders to go. Evidently Cheddar used peanut oil in their fryer. My peanut allergy kicked in after eating the tenders. 1st time in 15+ years. Sent them an email but haven't heard back.
And with a name like Cheddar's, they don't have cheddar soup? My wife was disappointed.
