That was one of the worst food experiences I've ever had. If you want to reminisce on what the scrappy food you ate in school tastes like. Then go here. I had a bacon cheeseburger and a classic coney with fries. The burger patty tasted like the mystery meat patties they used in school lunches. Tiny cheap hotdog that tasted like old hotdog water. Chili tasted like it came out of a can with the cheapest cheese on top. I saw that they're losing money and I can see why. Go to Braums for a good burger. And I can get better hotdogs at OnCue.

I've lived in Norman 32 of my 36 years and Classic 50's has always been the spot. High school it was the spot across from the snow cone stand before homeland built that gas station but anyways. Came today and very disappointed in my food. Its sad to see such a place I loved as a kid and would choose over anywhere else (except Sooner Dairy) cause their Cajun fries and slushes were top tier. Now not so much. Maybe the slush but everything else just is bad. I hate to be that person but 50's you have lost a long time customer and I will let people know. Please fix it. I dont want to lose another Norman iconic place

Extremely disappointing service. Server failed to return change for order and made me and my guest feel uncomfortable by their disrespect. I have never had anything bad to say about the food, but this type of service makes it difficult to want to come backs

Food was terrible. According to their sign, they might go out of business. They should really consider it unless they improve the quality of their product. The serving of French fries was small and tasted plain. Hamburgers were very dry and flavorless. The steak sandwich tasted like it was from a school lunchroom. Sorry guys, you lost my business. Good luck

Burger wasn’t great. Their “curly” fries are the frozen ones you buy at Walmart with Arby’s brand.

Super excited when my friend from Minnesota came to town for my birthday, I suggested Indian Tacos, she was excited, first ever Indian Taco for her! OMG 2 tacos no onions we said! $23.00 later we get onions and a really rude server. Seriously? $23.00 freaking dollars for two mediocre Indian tacos and you can't focus to get a basic No Onions order right? $23.00. 2 tacos. Onions.

Went here tonight for dinner. Noticed there were alot of Oklahoma Outlaws fast pitch players 14U around. Saw a sign they were having a fundraiser didn't think much about it till a young girl delivered our food to us and she spilled one if the drinks picked it up and gave to us anyways what was left. As you can see my ticket was 15 so I gave a 20 and extra 50 cents for her. She took it all and said thanks. I did not realize that was going to be like that and I was actually taken a bit back she just walked off with all my money. I am all about helping just didn't expect that in that manner. Then we start the eat our burgers. Oh my this is another story. Not sure if the girls 14 and under were in the kitchen too but it sure looked like it from the looks of how much mustard was put on the burgers. They were soggy and mustard was dripping out. It was horrible.

Truth in advertising! This place is a classic! Love it - the style - the food - the service! I got a double meat cheeseburger fries and large drink for $13.50! Fast friendly service - order was correct and the food was great! Fries were fresh & hot and so was burger - they chop up the onions & lettuce - I like that! I’m a big fan of Tucker’s but these guys are giving them a run! Thanks classic 50’s!

Absolutely terrible. I stopped in last night (10.31 @2230) for a banana strawberry shake and what I received for 7.50 was anything but a shake. Not a hint of ice cream, it was literally just lightly flavored milk water with bits of fruit. The server wasn't particularly friendly either, wooden and dull. Last time I'll ever visit this place. Pure disappointment.

Change your hours to accurately reflect the hours you are actually open. You all are not open until 11 pm. I pulled up at 10:02 pm on a Wednesday night and as soon as the employees saw me, they turned the outside lights off. Classic 50s used to be a Norman staple. It is no longer what is was when I was in elementary-college. I try to support local Norman businesses but when that business no longer fulfills a reputation they once had, it's easier to go to the Sonic a few doors down.
