We were given a table quickly, but our server took almost 10 minutes to take our drink order. Then the service was good, my husband got an early special dinner, but was charged full price. The server went back to fix it, but then came out and said it couldn't be change because we arrived after 6. The receipt showed our order was taken at 5:55. She ball faced lied to us. The manager took it off for us. Everything else was great. The restaurant was clean and everyone else was great.

I always come here for the meatloaf. The last 3 visits it tasted awful. It didn't even taste like hamburger meat and had no seasoning flavor. Get a better cook or fix the recipe.

I usually enjoy Cracker Barrel, however tonight I ordered the Country Fried Turkey with “herbed gravy”, which looked delicious. What came to the table, however, was somewhat overdone, hard, dry and had barely a dab of gravy on each piece. I ate a couple of bites that had gravy on it but the rest was too dry. I asked for a small bowl of gravy, 10 minutes later, I had eaten all of my sides, the waitress came and said “they’re making more gravy, it will only be another minute or two”. Another 5 minutes later I was brought a small bowl of BROWN gravy! How can a place like Cracker Barrel run out of gravy, and if it should happen, why would they not tell customers so they can order a different dish rather than serving something dry and unappetizing?

The meatloaf was pretty good as were the mashed potatoes and the broccoli. Service was a little slow, but I was also with a fairly large group which slowed things down.
The decor has certainly changed from the crowded walls full of things from the past. There was still some decor, but it is no longer cluttered on all the walls.
We had no wait time because we had called ahead.

First time back in 22 years. Not bad! Food was warm. Sampler platter was not good at all BUT we ordered other items that were good. I'd go back again.

Great food but chicken in chicken & dumplings had no flavor. Waitress must had been new or hard of hearing, had to repeat my order three times to get right.
