the best food desert chocolate bread pudding is awesome. nice atmosphere
Delicious meal with plentiful portions. Our server was helpful and attentive. The German chocolate bread pudding was a wonderful finish to our meal.
So when you aren’t looking, you find it.
Great German food-the frankfurters, pretzels, German potato soup, drinks, and German chocolate bread pudding.
Laura and Jakob were great hosts.
Finish it off with a lime after dinner mint.

Used to come to Das Boot Camp when they first opened 12~ years ago all the time! Finally came in again, and it was incredible as before. They are owned by the same people who own Royal Bavaria on Sooner Rd. If you've been having a hard time getting a table over there, try Das on Main Street! The interior is cute, cozy, and properly themed. They have great beer options and their food is always delicious and perfectly cooked. I regret not coming back any sooner. Our waitress was the sweetest young lady and made our return enjoyable. This establishment deserves more recognition and more customers. I would HATE for this place to end up going out of business, it always seems so empty!
Fantastic all around! Service, food and decor are on point! One of the most unique and down home places in Norman.
The food was fresh, hot and delicious! I also enjoyed the beer selection they have. Sadly, the waitress ruined our experience by forgetting multiple items and had to be reminded about almost every little thing. The waitress seemed to be overly medicated and lacked the ability to interact with us properly. Then when the bill came there were extra sides on the ticket that came with each meal. She went and got the manager who successfully changed the bill to what we actually had. I haven't not left a tip in a very long time but the only tip I could have provided would have been counterproductive in our interactions.
Best German Food!!!
Love the German food and beer here
If you have had real German food you will be disappointed. There was nothing authentic about this place. The pretzel was the best part of the meal. The boot of beer is in a plastic boot. I really don't know anyone who prefers to drink beer out of plastic. You dont get to keep the plastic boot so why not invest in glass? This had more of a hipster vibe than a German vibe. I took over half mine with me a gave it to a homeless kid. So it all worked out.

Jagerschnitizel is the best. Pair it with the Munich Dunkle.

The service was good and our server was very nice and attentive. There were only one or two customers in the venue. My wife and I ordered the pork shoulder with Herman potato salad. It took about 30 minutes to get our meal and the meat was a cut of shoulder with gravy. The meat was tasty but about half fat. The potato salad was very good. Great selection of beer. Also had an outstanding pretzel with beer cheese.

Great!
Sister location to the Royal Bavarian in Moore. We actually came here after not being able to get in there. Service was really good. The King Weizen beer is so good!! Great little spot in Norman, would definitely come back.
