Food is very good, got the DOS-cheese enchilada (taco) and a chili sauce enchilada. Cheese one didn't hv any onions in it like it used to but was still good. Queso was thin today but went yesterday and was thick and very good. Both times service was great! Great atmosphere, clean restaurant.

We love El Chico. It is our favorite restaurant. Luis is our favorite server and he is the best.
Wish I could give this establishment zero Stars. The El Chico's in Ardmore makes this place look like a dumpster fire, so if you can, go to Ardmore for your El Chico's. The service was completely awful, the waitress was immediately condescending as soon as we sat down and inquired about drinks. That was the first sign that we should have just gotten up and left. The second sign was that not even 2 minutes after we ordered our fajitas, they arrived fresh from the microwave to our table. Speedy service is great and all, but not at the speed of light. I would expect to have some time to at least THINK that they cooked my fajitas fresh. Food was mediocre for the price point. And the final nail in the coffin- if you want to have a nice lunch/dinner and spend time with your loved ones, do not come here! they will rush you out in every possible way they can. Our check was put on our table not even 5 minutes after we sat down. When we proceeded to enjoy our meal and experience that we came for, we were pressured in every way possible to hurry up and leave. All in all, it was the worst restaurant experience I have EVER had. Don't waste your money or your time on this place. It will just leave a bad taste in your mouth.

This is probably the best food in the sooner mall, and employees are very nice. I got the tex-mex burrito, and they gave me lots of chips with some salsa, and that salsa was great as well.

I've been eating at this location since I was very young. It was where our family went for "Out on the Town," night. I got older and hadn't gone for many years untill around two weeks ago. The Nostalgia is still there... the music, the smells and the quest were exactly as I remembered. Will always return for those good ol' memories.

Food was good. Waitress was also the bar staff. We saw her twice, once to take our order,& once i waved her down because we ordered white queso as an appetizer. (Which they brought when our meal was mostly competed.) Had to find a random waiter for a ticket. All around terrible service who3ch seems to be par for the course nowdays. This was at 11 am and they were fully staffed with an empty restaurant. Cellphone zombies. Never even got my apple pie. ???
