The Moon Sushi and Asian Bistro

Place is fantastic! My Japanese wife now says this place has the best Asian-fusion sushi in Norman. The people are super friendly, and the food is amazing. Our waiter was a little quirky but she was a bunch of fun.
Lots of people came in while we were there and the employees knew them by name and had an order ready to go. It’s clear there are lots of people that love this place enough to come regularly.
100% worth a try if you like sushi!

If you are familiar with Volcanoes across town, this place is slightly more expensive but the noticeable upgrade in taste makes it worth it in my opinion. My wife and I spent $21/each but we were hungry and also got a dessert to share.

The sushi that I got, the meek monster and california were delicious! Got the fried rice as well, which was flavorful. Got a desert, creme brulee, really good! Server was nice, and I enjoyed how the place looked. Im a big sushi fan, and it did not disappoint!

Always have a great experience at The Moon Sushi! Love their vegetarian options, and the rotating flavors of creme brulee are amazing.

Horrible service very rude, took food to go and through it, it was disgusting

tiny portion, super overly salty soy sauce, yellowtail on nigiri looked and tasted like a slug. actual roll was good at least… minus the gagging because the soy sauce was so salty. got them because they’re close for a work lunch but volcano & thai delight just do norman sushi way better. also i’ve gone twice recently & they were out of salmon the first time. that’s like mcdonald’s being out of burgers 😂

Yum my favorite sushi place by far and being in Oklahoma this place makes a great sushi and sake night out. ❤️❤️❤️ if you’re lucky enough you might get Lauren as your server!!!

This place is a hidden gem! I came with a friend, and we were both blown away by the food. The steamed buns were soft, flavorful, and perfectly made, while the Asian stir-fry was fresh, tasty, and well-portioned. You definitely get great value for the price!

What really makes this spot special is the atmosphere. It’s family-owned, and you can feel the love and care they put into everything. The owners are not only welcoming but also super funny and friendly, making the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for amazing food and a place that feels like home, this is the spot to try!

Really the stand out here is the service and environment. Our server, Lauren, was funny, kind, incredibly attentive and thoughtful. They were able to modify anything on the menu, she said, to be gluten-free and/or accommodate other allergies. She had suggestions for what I might order, and went to great lengths to make sure I loved what I ordered and that I got what I wanted. It seemed like everyone working there was part of a team, that they were enjoying themselves and liked their jobs and each other. The restaurant is cozy and not too big. Outstanding food, impeccable service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I'm counting down the days until I get to go back to The Moon!

Lauren was our server. 10/10 customer service! All her recommendations were on point. We took all her suggestions and were not disappointed. Even got some to go for later. We will definitely make this part of our weekend Norman ritual. See u soon Full Moon and hopefully Lauren! Just so impressed!

BEST MISO SOUP OF MY LIFE!!! My girlfriend ate tbe other sthff she said it was really good (Kimchi fries and something else). Idk I just ate rice and liked it but I was just there for the miso soup.
