Fantastic service, calm, warm and caring.Coffee is smooth and not bitter. Scones and quiche were superb. Egg really pops on the quiche. Brazilian cheese bread is also a winner.Items really are crafted by hand, and the quality shows. This is home made-not a chain.

The sparkling lavender lemonade is amazing and the employees are so kind. There is always plenty of board games available to play and the music they play is always great. The best coffee shop in all of Norman in my opinion

We had three different drinks and everyone was happy. Plenty of room and charging outlets around each seating area.

The outside patio was nice, but it could use a little dressing up.

I like to call Norman the "Town of Coffee Shops". We're a college town. Every left turn there's a new drink place. But Gray Owl is by far my favorite shop in a 25-mile radius of this town - and frankly, probably much wider than that. The drinks and food cost about as much as your latest vending machine expedition; for the price of one Starbucks drink I got a 16 oz caramel latte, a lavender lemonade, and the daily special baked food, including the tips I gave. The prices of each individual food makes this place wonderful for students who might wish to go back for another drink or bakery good over the course of a couple hours. The atmosphere here is lovely. The staff, the decoration, the music, the stickers and writings and flyers and graciously offered magazines and books for study breaks are all perfect. This place just feels right; it feels genuine. Nobody's trying to pander to one audience or the other. Everyone here is themself.I will definitely be coming here more often.Kid-friendliness: Gray Owl is definitely intended for people within the HS-college range. I wouldn't recommend bringing loud children in if you can help it, for the sake of student productivity.

Go here for tea when I am in town for their variety of loose leaf options. Fresh and natural options. Discounts for brining reusable cups and lots of organic menu options. Food looks good too and coffee options are plentiful.

Wonderful and eclectic. Lots of diversity in the mix here. Coffee and condiments are great. Wish they had a darker roast.

Love the employee owned nature of this place. Great service and awesome coffee. If you need a quiet spot to catch up on work they are just what you need.

Gray Owl is an absolute staple. I love their baked goods. I love their coffee (especially since they now use Clarity beans). I love the different seating options even though it can get kind of tough during peak study times to find a seat. I'm quite fond of the weird old circle couch in the back or the extra long bar if I don't have any homework I need to work on. The back patio is cool too. I think they make an almost perfectly balanced iced latte (just less milk than most places haha). The autumn spice flavoring they've had the past few months has been lovely. Also, I rarely take advantage of it, but it's really fun to get a pot of tea if you plan to sit for a while. Their music selection is reliably interesting. I will reminisce forever on the summer of 2018 when they played Mitski's Be the Cowboy front to back one day while I was sitting there... iconic. It's the way a college town coffee shop is supposed to be. Also, I appreciate the little sign by the register that requests cash instead of card.

Most of their stuff is weird but they make a killer hot mocha. Totally your run of the mill liberal woke coffee shop.

Grey owl is a locally owned treasure! Not only do they have tasty treats (some gluten free) and great coffee, but the ambiance and service are stellar. It's a beautiful location with local art on the walls that you can buy, so it's constantly changing.
