⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “Big Plates, Strong Coffee, and a Cozy Vibe!” I’m not usually a review guy, but this diner won me over. First off, don’t let the parking out front fool you — there’s extra parking on the side. Amy greeted us like we’d been coming there for years. Day one, I ordered the supreme burrito with homemade Verde sauce — huge and full of flavor. My wife got the breakfast quesadilla and still had leftovers. We loved it so much, we came back the next morning. I had the meat lovers omelette, and three cups of their coffee (and I’m not even a coffee guy). Chef Robert nailed it again — especially the fried green tomatoes. This place feels like the kind of diner you linger in, talking with other customers while waiting for your food. If you like big portions, good coffee, and a true small-town vibe, this spot’s a must-try.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “A Cozy Diner Worth Coming Back For – Two Days in a Row!” Love the feel of this mom-and-pop diner! And for anyone wondering about parking — don’t be discouraged by the small lot out front, there’s plenty of parking on the side of the building. I’m not a big fan of chain restaurants, so I was excited to try a true local spot. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Amy, who has the bubbliest, most welcoming personality. Being first-timers, we were ready to try it all — and we ended up coming back the very next day because we loved it so much! Day one: we ordered the breakfast quesadilla (so big I had to take half home!) and the supreme burrito with homemade Verde sauce. My husband absolutely loved it — and the burrito was literally the size of the plate. Day two: I had the Florentine omelette, and he had the meat lovers omelette. And let me tell you — he’s not a coffee drinker, but he had three cups here, so that says everything you need to know about their coffee. The portions are generous, the food is delicious, and Chef Robert deserves a special shoutout for the fried green tomatoes — that breading is addictive. The whole place has that cozy, nostalgic vibe that makes you want to slow down, sip your coffee, and chat with friendly strangers. If you’re looking for a hearty breakfast in a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this is the spot. We’ll definitely be back — and I highly recommend you check them out, too.

Good food and good staff, but I'm not going to pay extra for eggs when they didn't even go up in cost here in Oklahoma. Just looking for more ways to make a couple extras bucks from us. Not anymore...

Lived in Norman for the past 3 years and finally stopped in for breakfast. What a treasure! A down-home eatery, great service, and the best home-cooked breakfast not at home I experienced.
The home fries were (sad to say) much better than I cook! Eggs cooked well without burnt edges; pork loin slices tender and juicy; biscuit not baked or hard; and the gravy complimented everything! I never had to ask for a coffee refill. That is part of their fantastic service. I truly felt at home.
I will be stopping in more often. This is a place I will bring family for breakfast when visiting!

A hidden gem! I'm so glad my husband found this place! It has now become our go-to family breakfast spot for meeting up with my parents. Everyone that we have brought to eat there has fallen in love with it, too!

The type of meal you expect during the morning hours can not be that much different between Denny's, IHOP, Waffle House, etc., but what you get at Hassler's is intangible service and a connection with real people. The people here are genuine, service-oriented, and hard-working. You don't really expect a franchise employee at one of the big chain places to go above & beyond to make your visit special. At Hasslers, however, you get real people serving you real food. If you like independent operations that employ seriously sincere people, then Hasslers is the place for you. I love it every time.

Well the food is good. But they do skimp on quality products like hot sauce and ketchup. These condiments come from the local dollar tree. Perhaps to save money? If you request water, it will come from the local tap source in Norman. Also cash only for this business. Overall the price for what you get is exceptional, you will have to give up modern conveniences and products that are considered normal in the restaurant industry.

Great breakfast at 0700 on a rainy Saturday morning. Probably the lightest and crispiest hashbrowns I've ever had. Awesome smell of butter from the kitchen and a long history in Norman.

Norman classic diner, great good great prices. My grandpa used to bring me here in the 80s. Glad to see they're still popping.
I had the Heavenly Hash browns with a side of gravy and some pancakes. Everything was cooked to perfection and the service was very friendly. Comfortable setting, home town feel. Also, stop in for the fried green tomatoes ?

One of the best dining experiences I've had recently. Great food, great prices, and great service. The servers treated my brother's allergy concerns seriously and professionally. I am definitely going to be recommending Hassler's to everyone I know.
