Ichiban Sushi Bar & Poke

The salmon tastes dirty. I don't know why I added a bunch of ginger and soy, instead of just saying something. I hope I don't get sick. Sushi is supposed to be expensive because of the fresh caught fish, if it's farmed, shouldn't the cost go down? Or there should be a statement on the menu saying "we used farmed fish" I started eating sushi 15 years ago and it was so good! Now it's just low quality, everywhere. Even at the highest quality places like in Austin they aren't that good.

Great place with delicious sushi!!! I was really satisfied being here. Also I don’t say this lightly but the server was top tier, always checking in on us and helping us out! You’re awesome man!!!!!!!!!!!

Great food! I love sushi would have tried a lot more but my eyes were bigger than my stomach! Service for me was on point! Next time I want to try the Toro sashimi and Sea Lobster

Horrific restaurant service. I got takeout sushi from this place and a few hours later I was profusely vomiting throughout all hours of the night AND through the next day. I went to the ER at 7am just to be told that they OFTEN get other patients with food poisoning from this exact location. Do not go here unless you want to feel like dieing. My order number is #324E6 it was the Mexican roll and the crunchy roll I ate.

This is our second time visiting Ichiban. The first time was great. But this second time has greatly diminished the chance of us coming back.
I came in with my fiance, ordered the hibachi steak and chicken combo. I asked for no veggies in the rice, because the picture on their menu shows that the rice has vegetables in it, and I personally just dont like them in general. The waitress said there aren't veggies in the rice, which I didn't argue about and still ordered it.

Food comes out, and I find out that the rice is the only part of the plate that doesn't have vegetables served with it. There's veggies smothered all over the chicken, steak, and even peppers sloppily woven into the noodles it's served with. I decide to just eat/pick around it until a few bites in, I pull out a hair.

Now, as someone who works in the food industry, and someone who has longer hair, I don't really get easily phased by a single hair. I assumed it could have been mine, until I then decided to try the fried rice. The rice was cold, and void of any flavor. Two bites in, I find another hair.

Aside from the food being disappointing, our server was distant and had no attention to the tables needs. No refills, and she asked us if we needed a box before presenting the check just to forget the box and very distantly thanking us as she was walking off.

Not to mention I also killed some sort of bug with a napkin on the table. It looked like an ant, didn't have any wings. Either way this experience was insanely disappointing and NOT worth the $91 spent to eat there.

The staff are over the top and our food was absolutely Devine. I have no complaints, in fact the wait staff helped with my screaming son and made our visit as comfortable as possible.

Kid-friendliness: They got a sucker for my screaming son and we're very kind to him in general. He's only 2 and they treated him with the same respect as they would me.

Sooooo good! Sushi is high quality and the poke is great! Highly recommended. This is now one of my favorite places!!!

was always a regular until now. friend got food poisoning from the baked crawfish roll and threw up 4-5 times. it was our go-to roll but something was off

Tonight was my first time going, and I am beyond impressed! It's classy, friendly, and all around fantastic. We loved the food. Hands down some of the best Poke I've eaten. The spicy California roll was some of the best I've eaten. And the gyoza was some of the best I've eaten. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend!!

First time here, lovely piece and nice customer service. I sat at the bar and ate my crab rangoon while I waited for my takeout order. I personally did not like all the specialty rolls I ordered but my husband liked his (shrimp tempura). The roll I suggest trying is the Mexican Roll.

They should take Sushi out of their name. Had the cowboy roll. The shrimp was like a rock. Not fresh and overcooked to the texture of rubber. Do not order Sushi. If a Sushi place can't cook shrimp then I question the taste and safety of eating anything they produce out of their kitchen. My order was placed for delivery with Uber Eats so service and atmosphere quality I can't speak to.

Where do I begin? This establishment impresses me every time. The employees are so nice and they serve THE best and most unique sushi!!! I could eat here every day and never get bored of their sushi options! Their build-your-own poke bowls are simply amazing. And, they always offer you a pineapple on the house at the end of your delightful meal.

I don’t have any pictures yet but this place was really good. I’m not a sushi fan so when my step son wanted to go here for lunch, I wasn’t that thrilled. But man was I wrong. The poke bowl was great. You get a lot of options to create it with and it’s only $12.95. The other good part of it is the stuff is healthy and clean for the most part. Highly recommend trying it out. Pictures to come.
