Solid food and service, but absurdly cramped interior. Getting around is like a dance. I’m sure in the summer or spring it’s better with outdoor seating. I know this is a local favorite, but unless you hold down a good spot and/or don’t mind bumping into people or being overly cautious every second you’re there, I recommend just ordering takeout.
Parking: The parking lot is small and frequently used as a get-through, so good luck parking. I see many people just park up the street and walk. It’s also currently under construction around there

This place is gross, way overpriced, and totally underwhelming. The Health Department would have a field day in this place. Disgusting. $15 for some sliced turkey on store bought bread. Stale coffee, and bad tasting tea. This place needs to be completely gutted. Great location, somewhen should buy them out.

John from Midway Deli came up to me yesterday while I was promoting our Emergency Management Agency at the National Weather Festival and offered me a free meal. I thought about it for a while, and I'm glad I took him up on the offer!!! I had The Vulcan, and it was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!! Afterward, I told them how great the sandwich was, and John thought my tire looked low, so he gave me a tire pressure reader so I could check it. Sure enough, it was! The employees at this establishment are incredible, and they support first responders. While I may live 2 hours and 30 minutes away, I will 100% be back when I'm in the area. You all seriously rock!!!!!

I had heard about this place for years so I gave it a try for lunch. I had the Big Pastrami sandwich. It was tasty enough but I found it to be overpriced by quite a lot. I knew the price before I paid so I can't complain too much, but I'm sorry to say I won't return. Mcalister's is better for less.
I love Midway! Me and my family eat here almost every other week. We value the great sandwiches, sides, and above all small town hospitality. Some of the employees used to know us and our order from visiting so frequently. It seems like a new crew has been hired as today I called to place my usual order and was rudely told by a male worker that "It's going to be an hour wait on a to-go order". I've never had to wait that long. I don't believe this is the level of customer service that John upholds. Hoping for better next time.

Incredible food and great hospitality. First time at Midway - my wife and I enjoyed the New York Deli Classic and breakfast quesadilla. My wife loved the chili in the quesadilla. Both meals were amazing. 10/10!

After living in Norman for over 20 years and hearing great things about Midway, I finally made my way in. This place definitely lives up to the hype. All the employees are super personable and friendly, even with business being quite busy.
The food was also really great. I got the Vulcan sandwich and it was everything I could ask for. Fresh, crispy toasted sourdough, with a nice sweet chili mayo, piled with meats. The avocado and tomato added a nice refreshing bite.
I also got a side of potato salad and I was well impressed with it. It definitely looks and tastes homemade with a great creamy taste.
The small compact eating area just adds to the cozy atmosphere, and if the inside is too small, they do have a nice outdoor seating area.
I have definitely found my new weekly lunch spot for years to come!
10/10 would definitely recommend Midway Deli.
Vegetarian options: Again, it’s a deli so everything is built to order. The menu itself has a few vegetarian options, but you can also custom order any sandwich to make it match your needs.
Dietary restrictions: It’s a deli so everything is made to order so any dietary restrictions can be followed without issue.
