I entered a bit late, about 30 from close, to get some food because I had been recommended it by a friend, and immediately I was hit with this heavenly scent, as well as very nice people working and laughing with eachother. I am absolutely coming back to try more of their menu as I am already in love with their Takoyaki.

Great experience with take out on Friday night. After discussing gluten allergies and celiac disease with the owner, discovered they are very knowledgeable and have multiple options, including gluten free soy sauce! This is the first time in years I’ve been able to eat in at a sushi restaurant. Friendly and amazing service, great quality of fish, and very reasonable prices. I look forward to visiting many more times in the future.

To be fair I’ve never been in their business but I get their sushi all the time. The pork rolls are perfectly seasoned and crunchy. The crab Rangoon is delicious. Plus they put a smiley on my sushi and I find that made my meal better somehow. Consistently good. Delicious. My go to since I moved from Illinois.

This place has excellent food. I live over an hour away, but drive a service truck and every time I get the opportunity to stop in I try to schedule my day around it wish they were closer to home. I would definitely eat here more often.

Love coming to Mr. Sushi and eating at the bar. Jim, the owner, is so interesting to talk to, and answers all my questions regarding fish and sushi. If you’re unsure what you want, ask for a recommendation! Rolls are always fresh and amazing! It won’t disappoint.
I’m a big fan of small, cozy restaurants and Mr. Sushi is exactly that. Didn’t catch our waiters name but he was very kind and respectful, thanking us for our wait even though he didn’t need too, we were enjoying the vibes. Food was also excellent, we ordered fried gyoza but we ate it before i thought to take a picture. Also ordered sushi combo A, very delicious. Would recommend and will be coming again!

I was very unhappy today. Because I ate Japanese ramen at this restaurant. I am not a picky person. The way they handled the problem was unacceptable to me. To put it bluntly, the ramen was super salty. The meat was super fishy and greasy. I told the waiter and the answer I got was that Japanese ramen is like that. Because I like to eat Japanese ramen, I will search for Japanese ramen restaurants wherever I go. This restaurant is not only unpalatable, but the way it solved the problem was even more ridiculous. In the end, I had to add two glasses of ice water to barely finish it. Friends who see the comments please go there with caution.

Mr. sushi is hands down the best sushi restaurant in Norman!! The quality is unmatched, everything is delicious & they definitely have the freshest and highest quality fish of any in the area. My husband and I both have loved everything we’ve gotten here, especially the spicy tuna temaki!! My husband also LOVED the ramen & we typically fly out for ramen as we haven’t found any good in the area. I absolutely recommend!!
