Old School Bagel Cafe

My order is almost always wrong and they have really slow service. I’ll normally go in to pickup my order and this morning in particular I waited at the register for about 4-5 minutes before someone even acknowledged me. Then they couldn’t find my order for a short while. Eventually I got my order and there was grape jam all over the paper packing our bagels, mind you neither bagel I ordered had jam on it.

I want to like this place, and when they make my food right it is good. But oh my god—- almost every time I place a mobile order they mess it up. Today, I made my mobile order for a bagel sandwich and when I picked it up, the order listed on my paper receipt was my order, however it did not exactly match up with what my mobile receipt said, so my bagel was missing egg when it wasn’t supposed to. Also, even though it said on both receipts to be toasted, it wasn’t toasted. I went back in and politely asked them to fix it, and they sort of did— they did toast it but barely, and it was missing cheese this time. I work in food service so I get it, things happen, but it’s only with mobile orders that I have this issue—- even when everything is listed correctly on both receipts. I honestly think that just no care goes into the mobile orders.

The person working the drive through was absolutely disrespectful!! I asked her what bagels they had left and I was having trouble hearing her so I asked her to repeat it, she said “the ones I just said” didn’t even get food because of how she treated us.

Food and service were great!! I had the Old smokey on an everything bagel and my son had the firecracker.

The original and best for a breakfast bagel. I wish you guys were on Main st., but still worth the drive.👍

Great food and employees!

I ordered through the drive thru, one bagel, toasted with a side of cream cheese. I sat behind the car in front of me for a few minutes, no big deal. When I got to the window, paid, then waited. And waited. And waited. It took 12 minutes for me to get my bagel. I thanked the girl headed to work…when I got to work, which is less than 4 minutes from the store, my “toasted” bagel… was definitely NOT toasted. Hell, it wasnt even WARM … not even a little. Thankfully we have a toaster in the break room. I had to toast it myself. You’d think it would be toasted or at least slightly warm after having to wait 12 minutes.

Food is great, service is great, but it’s inconvenient when they run out of menu items hours before they close. I love this place but it’s frustrating when they’re frequently out of stock for things like Asiago bagels, turkey, and ingredients for hot drinks.

I got so excited that I ate half of my sandwich before I remembered to take a pic. I have been a fan of Old School for about 15 years. The bagels are fresh, warm, and chewy.

they didn't toast my girlfriend's bagel, despite the fact that i tipped 20%. never tipping here again, waste of money, the workers can figure it out.

I would’ve given a bad review because they messed up my order, but they were amazing about fixing the problem. They let me keep the two mess up sandwiches and replaced them with the correct sandwiches. They also refunded the two sandwiches I got. I really appreciate a company that owned when they got an order wrong and fixed it. I will be back probably only because they were so nice.
