Excellent lil venue featuring wonderful local music as well as far ranging bands from around the globe. One of two solid vegan restaurants in Norman. Truly a staple of this area. Lovely all ages aspect to the venue, been coming here since I was 17 and will keep coming in till I’m 117.

One of the most inclusive spaces in Norman, and I love that it has evolved into a worker/owner business! Their support of “early in their career” and/or experimental musicians makes them integral to Norman’s music ecosystem. I also find it an intimate venue when a more established band comes through, like Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Kate LeBon, Washed Out, Kero Kero Bonito - to name some of the shows I’ve seen there that have been packed out in much larger spaces. I also love the new things they’ve tried like “Bread Talks”. You learn so much from the community while Opolis serves up warm delicious bread with a dipping sauce made of oil/vinegar/seasonings. They’ve also got dance parties, karaoke nights, host Weirder Wednesdays, and more. They are one of Norman’s hidden gems.
Vegetarian options: It’s mostly vegan, but you can cheese and other dairy if you ask for it.

I love this venue & community space! Opolis is always invested in giving a stage to locals and touring acts that range from just starting out to seasoned well-known artists. I love the variety of sounds and audiences this place draws while remaining a reliable community hub for gathering for food & drinks and hanging out on the patio.

A great micro-venue for inexpensive vegan food (the "chicken" pot pie and French sillk pie are killer!), good drinks, and the best in local to to international bands. Worker owned and opperated!
Vegetarian options: Menu is all vegan, making it no problem for vegetarians. Gf dishes labeles.
