Service was honestly terrible. Food was just ok. We waited a long time to even get greeted by a waitress. Food came out quickly enough after but one of the omlets wasn't cooked fully. The waitress was obviously not enjoying her time there and tossed the menus at us and dropped the silverware down on the table and barely talked. She took our drink orders, a water, coffee and strawberry milk. She forgot who ordered what. We waited so long for our check that I took a solid guess at the cost of our meal and left what I felt was enough to cover it plus a good enough tip and left.My family will not return to this restaurant.
We decided to go here while we were at a baseball tourney in Littleaxe. It was also mothers day weekend. All of that to say, this place was busy. It took the waitress a bit to get to us, but once she did we were ready to order drinks and food. After we ordered the food took approximately 15 minutes to come out, but it was properly cooked and hot. Everything we ordered tasted good (breakfast) and nothing was incorrect. Not a place I'd make a special trip for, but if you're in the area you should go check them out.
I had the cheese burger with fries. Both were hot and fresh. Wife had the chicken strips and was pleased. Little pricey, but not bad at all. Worth the money.
Delicious food!! We’ve had both the all you can eat breakfast and catfish both didn’t disappoint! The catfish was seasoned so good and the grilled green beans are amazing!!
The older woman waitress (I think owner?) does an absolutely fantastic job. Overall it has gotten better and better. It sure draws a breakfast crowd on the weekends and that’s because the food is great. Make trip out to Lake Thunderbird and give this family a shot at satisfying those tastebuds!
We've visited this cafe twice and have been extremely pleased both times. The food is prepared in such a manner that makes one feel like they're eating at someone's private home. It's delicious and plentiful. So far, we have tried the Fried Catfish, a special of Center-cut Pork Chop and another special of Liver and Onions. All the food was prepared perfectly, from the flavor to the cooking technique. It's probably a good thing that we don't live close to the Primetime Cafe...I'm sure we would eat there on a daily basis! YOU will not be disappointed, either.
Excellent tasty food cooked the way you like. Good service. Nice atmosphere.
This is our new favorite go to place. We have tried many places and there aren't many that I am truly happy with. I don't have one complaint. The food was amazing. Everyone loves it.
This is a great little place to eat. We are always pleased. The food is good too! Beth and Jimmy Pickett
This was my first time there. I will definitely be back. My mother-in-law had a veggie sandwich. I think they will name the sandwich bonnie's veggie sandwich.
Restaurantji Recommends
I would pick to go here more times than any other food. If you live by the lake or are passing by it is a no brainer to stop for some catfish and a delish side. Burgers are also great. Really, anything here tops most restaurants in the area. 9/10 would definitely reccomend.
Took a drive around Thunderbird Lake recently & stopped in here for dinner. Loved the layout & the tropical decor. I remembered I had been here many, many years ago when it was called something else, so it was fun to try it again. I got the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes & grilled green beans (not pictured). I didn’t care for the green beans but that’s probably just my personal taste

My mother got a meatball sub, my sister had catfish & my nephew had chicken fried steak sandwich.☀️ ? ?
Very good food! Wish the portions were a bit bigger. But overall I would go back and def recommend this place. We had eggs, bacon and hash browns! Even my picky toddler ate his food! Clean environment and great staff!
This place was awesome! We went for breakfast. It has a down home, country feel. The owner came to our table to make sure everything was good. We told him it was. He asked if anyone got the french toast, we didn't but he had an order sent out and WOW! They are awesome! Definitely get the French toast! All you can eat was amazing too! Also, I should mention that we paid $39 for our family of 4 to eat. That included 3 chocolate milks and a Sprite to drink. So a very good price! We will be back!
