Ranch meatballs had wonderful spices & sauces. Shrimp cocktail The shrimp were so big & delicious & delicious. Crab cakes were very good & the sauce was very fresh & a good fit for the crab cakes.Bone-In Ribeye was very nice & I added sautéed jalapenos & onions also garlic butter.I can't leave out the delicious bread & butter.I wish my dessert wasn't ice cream, so I could have it this evening.Even though I just ate a small amount of the appetizers I left so full. There were so many leftovers to bring home.
Worst Food I have ever had. Wife had the "Ribeye Steak" She was served a Sirloin steak. Under cooked and TOUGH as leather on a Searing hot plate that splatter oil in her face. I had Salmon - DRY and Overcooked. We took home a piece of Homemade Cheesecake that was Dry and the Cream Cheese was SOUR. Worst experience ever.

I had originally left a review the night of, but it went missing for some reason. We came here for Valentine’s Day, and we didn’t know that the restaurant closes at 10:00 because management made the decision to keep taking reservations until 9:45. Terrible way to treat your staff, no wonder the steak came out cold and the waitress was annoyed. We didn’t get our steaks until around 11:30, and mine was half how I liked and half raw. Until management changes, I will probably never come here again.

The ribeye, mac and cheese, warm bread, crab cakes and cinnamon roll bread pudding were extremely delicious. However the lobster campenelle was more soupy than creamy and hard to eat. Very disappointing. Our server, (sorry I forgot his name but he was shorter, bald with a mustache) was exceptional. He was very attentive, helped with menu and drink choices and made the dinner a pleasure. The ambiance was nice and noise level quiet. Dress code is pretty much whatever you want to wear, but I would recommend keeping it dress casual at a minimum. Overall, a great experience!!

I only have one complaint for this restaurant. Jazz music is very annoying. If you don't listen to Jazz you probably hate it, and I DO!!!! The atmosphere doesn't go with that genre of music. I would rather there be no music. I have been twice, servers both time were amazing.

Well, it’s hard to say anything more than outstanding service. I was here with my son and he actually said it was the best steak he ever had, my Texas hart was broken. I will admit it was an amazing steak, the deserts were so good it made us wish we didn’t have the steaks.
We were seated and brought menus and water, but waited 15 minutes or more with no server. When the restaurant realized the oversight that no one had been assigned to our table, they couldn't have been nicer and apologized profusely. The food was absolutely delicious! The chop salad was perfect, with fresh ingredients and a light dressing. Filet was one of the best I have ever had, served on a steaming hot plate and cooked perfectly.The spinach was good and the au gratin potatoes were scrumptious! Our sides and desserts were deducted from our bill for our wait. Our server, Jaeden was very attentive, sweet and efficient! Thank you Ranch Steak House for a wonderful dining experience!

We love The Ranch in Norman. It's our go-to-place for any kind of celebration - birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, etc. Or when we just get a craving for the finest, succulent, sizzling filet in OK.
We enjoyed every minute of our dining experience. We were seated promptly, our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive, our food was cooked to perfection and the drinks were lovely. I love my steak medium rare and it melted in my mouth. Worth every penny.
We were a group of 6 adults (with a reservation ) seated at a table in the very back room. Next to our table was a table with 2 loud school age children - made normal conversation at our table difficult. Also our table was very wobbly, the table top moved any time someone rested their arm or laid silverware down, etc... this felt very out of place for a nice restaurant like Ranch steakhouse. I've never been disappointed at Ranch until this most recent visit.

Lots to like here. Ambiance is great, service is exceptional, cocktails were really good. Maybe my review of the food should be ignored by most -- who come for steaks. I didn't order a steak. The grilled salmon on a pesto risotto was... well, OK. The salmon was overcooked by more than just a little, and the risotto texture was a long way off, watery and too salty. The Brussels sprouts were fine, but not a long ways above average Probably I made a bad order on an off night. I am not prone to leave picky reviews. Maybe my expectations for the food were too high, based on the first-class atmosphere and service. I will try again and have a steak, and I bet my view on The Ranch changes.

I took a client last night to dine. Our salads had no dressing on them. Then when my steak arrived it was cold & so was my plate. This is not the first time this has occurred at this location. There is apparently a problem in the kitchen. At steak house must be able to serve hot steak!!
