Staff was excellent, they genuinely made us feel welcome . Food presentation was exceptional. Food could be served 15/20 degrees warmer. The restaurant was packed but never felt crowded. Conversation noise level was very loud and the restaurant always has a smoky smell. Overall it is one of the best restaurants in Norman, with well prepared and presented food, it is a very fine Hal Smith restaurant.
Waiter did not have enough knowledge of the new dish my dinner companion ordered. Ended up having soft fried eggs on top. Dish was ok but would have never ordered stacked enchiladas with eggs on top. Overall dining experience was nice and restaurant is beautiful.
We were extremely fortunate to pick Redrock Canyon Grill for Easter brunch. The menu choices were great, the service as outstanding, and the food was delicious. For a busy day, the food was delivered quickly. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Cutter Elliott, the singer, on the patio was excellent. My chicken and sausage was not up to standard of a Hal Smith restaurant.
Great dining and service. Had a reservation and was seated quickly (although we had to remind the host we were there) after arriving, despite a busy evening. Drinks and food were fantastic! A little slip up on the drink order (not sure what happened, I ordered a house marg and they brought what tasted like ranch water) but the team quickly fixed the issue. Food was hot and delicious - I cleaned the plate! Will definitely be back for another special occasion.
Everything was great until we asked the server to do an even split on two credit cards for 3 of the four diners since we were celebrating a birthday. The food and service were both excellent. It just got off track when trying to pay because of the inexperienced server.
I love red rock! It’s a little pricey so I only get to eat it sometimes. I ordered a curbside pick up today. After specifically asking for plasticware and A1 I received neither. My son’s burger was also supposed to be medium well and it was more like a little less done than medium. This isn’t a cheap place, and it’s a Hal Smith restaurant so I definitely expected my order to be correct.
