On the way to out of business. Turning away customers at 7:40 on Friday night. Good pizzas but overpriced.

this is the best pizza in Norman, please support these guys. They are doing something really special with incredibly clean ingredients, sourdough bread, and pizza crust with organic flour. This is the only pizza in town that doesn’t make my stomach hurt. They are wonderful.

Very limited selection on their menu. And then out of bunches of very typical ingredients like tomatoes, and chicken. Environment was clean and nice, but a bit disappointing overall.

We have tried Tavola one other time before last night and the first time was take out. It was good, but we wanted to give it a shot to be great so we decided to dine in.While the crust is very good, the amount and quality of toppings leave a lot to be desired. We had a Margherita pizza, a Suprema pizza, and my wife had a glass of wine. The wine she wanted from the menu wasn't available, and the menu also shows a carafe, that too was no longer available.I'm not sure why one basil leaf was torn into 8 pieces, but I'm guessing it's so each slice could get the aroma of basil on the Margherita pizza. The Suprema was sadly soggy in the middle and had floppy crust.I completely agree with other reviews that this pizzeria could rival Hall's and it's nice not having to go to Campus Corner during the school year to eat at Volare, but it keeps falling short of my expectations. The atmosphere, the brick oven, and Neapolitan style pizza has me wanting something different than the chain pizza places. I'm not looking for a fine dining experience, but if all aspects of this restaurant were as good as the crust, it could be the best pizza place in the area. I'm not ready to give up on this place just yet, so I'm hoping that the 3rd time will be the charm.

We tried this place excited for the idea of a new pizza concept in the area. The menu left a lot to be desired and half of what we wanted was unavailable. They advertised “craft beer” which was 2 options. Our pizzas came out Medium Rare at best. The dough was still cold upon biting into the first piece. We looked at the rest of the pizza to find that it was very undercooked and still very doughy. There were several of us and most everyone’s pizzas were the same way. Can’t say that we will be returning. It seems the idea is great but very poorly executed.

I really like this place. The atmosphere is wonderful. The tables are clean, the staff is friendly, and most importantly, the food is excellent. My only hang up about this place are the hours. It seems like when I swing by they are closed. I wish they had better hours, but if it works for them then go for it.They are a great addition to NW Norman and I wish them the best.

I took my first bite and knew I wanted to write a review! This restaurant was so clean and well decorated with friendly staff. The food was tasty (love the homemade crust!). I built my own pizza and was very satisfied - it took some self control to not eat it all but I took some home to enjoy later :)

This is my absolute favorite place for pizza and they have clearly been struggling over the last year. Hope to see them improve in the future, they’re still my favorite!
Great Pizza! I love the crust, and the toppings are wonderful!

Fanatic pizza the way it is made in Italy. None of this Americanized pizza but the way it's supposed to be made. Light sauce, thin crust with fresh toppings. Locally owned with a good crew the works the oven.

Absolutely love Tavola. So much flavor and the crust here is fantastic as expected. Do yourself a favor and try this place.

We were really excited to try this place. We asked if we could do a 1/2 and 1/2 pizza with the Americana and the Suprema and were told we could. The pizza was cooked and brought to us. The Americana side was fine, but the Suprema side had only cheese and onions. The young man told us they were out of all the other ingredients. He apologized and offered to get us another pizza. I just feel like it should not have even been a question. If you're out of ingredients you should disclose that up front. We would have ordered a full Americana if we had known. Great concept, poor delivery.
