I have lived in Los Angeles & Houston my whole life and tried tons of Thai food from various areas of the large cities. We happened to be on the road and stopped in for a quick bite. This is hands down, the “Best little Thai food restaurant in Texas.” WORTH the drive if you ever wanted to try it or as a pit stop along your journey.Service is great, food is amazing with such a variety to choose from, there’s something for everyone. The yellow curry with a hint of spice with hot jasmine tea (made with real leaves, not bag) was the perfect palate pleaser on a hot summer day. Try the fresh flavorful seafood salad or Panang to spice things up in your life!

My family loves this restaurant! We have been eating there for years and the family that runs the place are wonderful people. Our favorite is their chicken massaman curry and the beef with flat noodles. My teenage daughter loves the potted plant smoothie.

The absolute best Thai food in town. Always friendly, always fresh, and the best price

This place is bar none, the best Thai food in town. When I got back from a month in Thailand, I ate all over town for something that tasted authentic to take me back to that magical place. Thai kum koon, hands down, is that place. I would eat here everyday if I could afford it, though prices are incredibly reasonable. I would try to get a job here just for the perks, but I believe this is a family run place, which adds sooo much to it's charm. It's always the same cook and the same service people when the owner is not there, which I've actually never encountered. He's there from open to close doing most of the customer interfacing himself. So I just try to eat here as often as I can. My favorites: himapon, massaman, and pad thai. Their mango sticky rice is also a must for me. I've been eating here for about 20 years now, and as long as I live in Norman, I will be a proud loyal Thai kum koom groupie...

I've gone here a few times now. I usually get something basic. The Pad Thai and the Tom Yum soup are both really good. But today I had to leave a bad review because I tried to order something new... and it was terrible. I ordered pork Hong Kong noodles. There was nothing at all good about it... The noodles were undercooked and overcooked in parts. There was no discernable flavor apart from salt. I'm not giving 1 star because they have had some good dishes otherwise, but the fact that this one dish was served to me was actually so disappointing. Should a restaurant deserve a bad review for one dish? I'm not sure, but if you tasted what I did, I think you would understand.

Not the best tai food in Norman, but not bad either. Fun place to sit down and eat.

Came in for lunch and the food was ready in minutes. Generous portions and everything tasted really good. The steamed dumplings and pad Thai were cooked perfectly. Friendly service. I highly recommend. I will have to come back to this spot again soon.

We did take out, although you can eat there. The food is very tasty and the owner is friendly and greets each customer from behind the counter. We'll be back.

So glad to find this gem hidden in the corner. Just moved to Norman from the Asian District. The food is just like my neighbors made. Curries are my comfort food. They are so nice and welcoming.
