we had enjoyed going to The Standard frequently ever since they opened, and even recommended it and shared positive experiences on social media. We liked it so much, that we overlooked the menu and recipe changes and the occasional outage of menu items. This is a cool little spot. It's a bit warm right now but they put in fans and are working on AC upgrades.
The food is great. The chicken is some of the best I've ever had. Wasn't wild about the catfish but the rest of the food is amazing. Great portions for the price. Love the drinks and the selection. Definitely worth checking out.
