This place is a hidden gem ? and they have many good options to choose from. The service is great and they are on top of making sure you have what you need. We enjoy the great and friendly service, and of course the food is good!

These 2 girls here live in Texas.. this is all they talk about is coming here to eat at Volcano's... and it is so nice that the staff here remembers them.. the food is already the best out here.. and the service just tops it off.. thank you again for another great visit for my granddaughters.. I think this place is sometimes the only reason they really come and visit me.. ?

The only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars, I would have given them 1 is because I’ve heard such good things about it , unfortunately we didn't get the chance to try it because nobody bothered to greet us or even bring us a menu for 15 minutes. It said seat yourself so we did, after about 10 minutes someone dropped menus off at our table and walked away without even a word. We waited 5 more minutes before getting up and leaving. We went to mama veca instead. They never disappoint!

First impression walking in, wasn’t that great, a sign hanging to seat self in bar area and no one at the bar area. I was also looking to sit somewhere more alone. I’ve been told several times I needed to try this place and I finally getting the chance to.Waited several minutes to be greeted and waited on, which they just opened and it was just me and other person so far.I got a mojito and it was so big and great tasting. Whatever chips and salsa they brought to me was very spicy, and I normally love spicy.I ordered a #11- 1 taco, 1 gordita, 1 enchilada, with steak for the meat. Before I ordered this plate I asked to make sure there were no beans on it, and in the Gordita there was refried beans. I get a lot of Mexican food has beans but that’s why I asked before I ordered it and I would have asked no beans and if that wasn’t possible I would have ordered something different. The taco was good I just wish I knew it came on a corn tortilla I would have asked for flour, but it was still good. I wished the waiter was informative when taking my order and making sure I was okay with everything coming on my plate. I’m not a fan of the red sauce on the enchilada but still ate it because the meat inside was good. I had the hardest time picking around the beans in Gordita. I’m not impressed with it being my first time here with the customer service. I feel like the tables and the bar is way too close, the party of all males that came in was way too close to me for comfort.With all that being said after I finished my meal I still had chips left and decided to order a side of queso because every Mexican restaurant should have a good queso, it was really lukewarm. From this first experience I wasn’t much impressed over besides having a great drink.

This place ended up being a "wow, we never knew this was here...wish we knew sooner" situation. We live close, but we never really knew what this place was until today. I'm very happy we stopped by.They have the house salsa, but we found out that you can request a hotter and much more flavorful version (showed as a $1 charge on our bill) --- mixing this house salsa with the hot salsa was one of the best things ever. And their tortillas are THICK, which I love.The prices are low, too. In my pictures you can see the size of the margaritas, which were very strong, and about the price of what you pay for 1 or 2 beers (and our margarita had full bottle of beer in it!)Everything was really well set up, too, with my only complaint being that the restaurant has a slightly wonky layout, but you are going there to sit and eat, so that shouldn't matter.Would recommend this place. Most places, which were massive, were less than $15, almost near $10. Again, I wish we knew about it sooner. Hope to go back soon.
