I’ve been here several times and never left a review. It’s a fun place , kids enjoy it. So why am I leaving one now?
I called this morning to see if they would be open after the storms, and talked to a very friendly young man that went out of his way to get an answer to my question. He didn’t sigh, he didn’t make me feel like a burden for asking, and very professional.
It’s such a small thing to some, but having kind and friendly employees goes a long way to helping...
I recommend Westwood because it’s fun. However, some of the lifeguards need training in patience and kindness with young children. My son recently learned to swim so this is his first summer going down the water slides alone. When he finished the slide and landed in the water, he didn’t know which ladder to climb up. A female lifeguard continuously rolled her eyes at him, shaking her head, looking at the lifeguard at the top of the slide, mouthing words to him and raising...
This is a place my girls really enjoy but a few things need to be adjusted. The water fountains are off due to Covid and they won’t provide cups of water. So when it’s 100 degrees out (or even today when it was in the 80’s) and your kids (or you) need to hydrate they will have to pay for water. Second, again, today was in the 80’s and my girls talked about how their feet were burning on the concrete when they were in line for concessions. They either need to put padding...
