Been to Mexican restaurants all over and this is certainly one of the best
just tried this restaurant as it has generally good reviews. hubby ordered off the luncheon menu and i ordered an enchilada dinner. we both got ample portions. the chicken enchiladas were filled with shredded chicken and i got quite a lot of cheese sauce on them which was fine with me. so no skimping on the filling. plenty of rice. i only got a couple of tablespoons tho of refried beans. but the meal was plenty for me. plenty of chips and no problem getting refills of salsa. the...read full review

El Tapatio is a Mexican restaurant with consistently good food and excellent service. The food is awesome, delicious, and the amount of food for the price is very amazing. The restaurant is clean, with clean restrooms, and is child friendly. The chips and salsa are the best. Specific meals include Birria tacos, steak tacos, the burrito with beef, pizza for the kiddo, the Molcajete, stuffed poblanos peppers, and two margaritas. The atmosphere is amazing, and the staff works hard to ensure satisfaction. The service is superb, great, and excellent. The fries could use more seasoning, and some meat dishes need more seasoning, but the food is pretty good and worth the drive.
