We had to order food delivered because the cook was unable to come to work. Staff were great!

As soon as we stepped inside, the vibe felt off, like we’d walked into a place that didn’t quite want us there. We made our way to the bar, excited to kick off our evening. My friend mentioned it was our first time and asked the bartender for some recommendations on what to try. To our surprise, he just shrugged and said we could wander anywhere, cutting the conversation short.
To add to our disappointment, we learned the kitchen was closed—something we were really looking forward to since we had heard great things about the food. It would have been nice if they had mentioned that they were short-staffed on their website or social media; we definitely missed that detail during our research.
And here’s the kicker: we had specifically come to see the band advertised to start at 8, but it turned out they weren’t hitting the stage until 9. Feeling a bit disheartened, we decided to call it a night before the performance even began. It was a letdown, to say the least.

Awesome old school place! Great bartenders, cheap drinks, nice patio, jazz band was great
I absolutely adored the vibe from the second my friends and I walked in! The outdoor area is just fantastic—so lively and inviting. The music really set the mood and made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff were truly wonderful and made us feel so welcome with all their accommodations. This place is definitely a gem!
Cool place!
Haven't been to 51st in years & it's dramatically improved w/2 areas for live music
We attended Wednesdays' night jazz. Terrific vocalist and McKinney trio. Then open mike great music and craft beer.

This place was neat. Located in a house, this speakeasy is a great place to get a cocktail in an intimate setting.

The absolute worst service & hospitality out of all okc bars. There’s a reason why we only came here 1 time during 2024 and will definitely be the last time. I think you could have a better time at Chillis. Owner thinks he’s living in 1924.
