The stacked enchiladas and both the halibut and sea bass are “can't miss” items. This is one of our favorite spots in the Paseo district and we will definitely bring friends back again!”

From the moment we arrived, the entire staff treated us as special guests. Did I mention the food was AMAZING! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. My husband and I are looking forward to another visit with Grey Sweater. And hopefully next time we'll get a chance to meet Chef Andrew Black. ✌?”

We had an online reservation to make that it was our anniversary, from the moment we were seated I saw a card on the table wishing us a happy anniversary and Ana immediately attended us and along with our waitress Mkenzi were GREAT, she made us recommendations for drinks and appetizers . .. the appetizer they have with lobster is wonderful as is the bread they place on the table, we also tried their millionaire margarita and it is delicious, as the main course we ordered 2 types of fillets that were cooked perfectly; I must say the price is worth it, they have their sides that are shared and are very well portioned. That day the manager TiGO came to the table and everyone congratulated us on our anniversary, something that seemed very thoughtful to me. We told the manager that it was our first time and he gave us some delicious chocolates. I recommend 10000% mahogany, it is perfect for special celebrations (that day they asked me to marry them and without a doubt I hope to return soon.”

However I came back with a group of employees w fingers crossed and Linda was there and she asked where have I been. “You want good authentic Mexican food then this is the place. My wife and I are from parts of Texas and much of the cuisine is Texmex. It's hard to find good Mexican food in other states like we are use to. Especially when it comes to salsa. To us Salsa is suppose to be hot ? not some wimpy watered down tomatoe sauce. Tacos Don Nacho did not disappoint us. It was spicy and the food, service and atmosphere is great. In our opinion it is the best Mexican food in Oklahoma hands down. Live this place.”

I had the Capizzi which has mozzarella, ricotta, roasted red peppers, roasted garlic and pesto. I opted to add a drizzle of Sicilian hot honey for an extra $1 and I absolutely devoured this pizza when it was brought hot and fresh to my table. I loved the strong garlic flavor that the roasted garlic provided but if you're sensitive to garlic I could see how it may be a little overpowering! This restaurant was super cute inside and the price point was perfect for a nice spot out that didn't break the bank too much!”

Absolutely delicious, well seasoned and cooked burger patties, vegetables on it were fresh, fries were great. What blew me away were the buns, not off of the shelf so I couldn’t describe how great they were. Everyone there was friendly and delightful. Sanitary as far as my eyes could see, less than every 5 minutes someone would go around the make sure the drink station, counter, and table were cleanParking: Old-school drive-in so they had plenty parking spots”

“My wife and I went on Friday, 1/6/22. Apart from being a dining experience, this was also half art installation and half magic show. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was presented beautifully and the colors and textures (and aromas) were quite pleasing. Each course was served by a chef or member of staff who explained the ingredients and flavor profiles. They were all knowledgeable and seemed, justifiably, proud of what they were doing. The chefs served three courses with ingredients I normally detest, butternut squash and beets. The winter tartlet and a savory custard both included the squash and they were amazing! The beet came with the tenderloin course and it was so smoky and sweet, I got a little verklempt.Because it's a tasting menu, the courses are smaller then an average main; we had the 10-course menu and left satisfied and very full. The Focaccia and the Tendeloin courses could have been a meal all on their own. I don't drink, so I skipped the wine pairings, but I learned that they offer a non-alcoholic pairing and I regret not trying it.The dessert course were life affirming. There was a Tea & Snack course with spiced beef tea and aebelskivers which almost made my wife cry (in a good way). The apple sorbet was gorgeous! It was like biting into a green apple, tart followed by sweet. The color and textures were beautiful.This was a wonderful experience. The staff were attentive and kind and seemed invested in what they were doing. The room is small, but I didn't feel cramped and had no issues having a conversation with my wife. I called several other fine dining restaurants in OKC and this was the only place willing to accommodate us. I made a reservation at 4 o’clock for 8 pm and they willingly offered their private dining room. The customer service was excellent and accommodating. From the moment we sat down until we walked out the door the hospitality was amazing. We all had the idgaf tasting menu and every SINGLE course was phenomenal. The chef was humble and human. We were all so invested in the moment that I forgot to take photos but this was an experience I will NEVER forget.”

“We had a huge party come in last minute (we estimated 9, it ended up being closer to 16). Our bartender and server, Tatiana, was absolutely amazing and accommodating. It was clear the restaurant was extremely short staffed and she did the best she could to make sure we were all taken care of. She was making drinks, taking orders, delivering food, not just to our table, but to most of the other tables at the restaurant as well. I don't know where the rest of the staff was, as we could see them around, but Tatiana was definitely running the show on her own. We had a member of our party (that we didn't know but just had been invited out of politeness) that started being rude and passive aggressive to Tatiana over an onion allergy (that the kitchen went completely out of their way to accommodate. Who asks for an onion allergy at a burger place??). Tatiana handled his complaint extremely professionally before our table kicked him out and told him to leave. We made sure we took care of her at the end of the night. She needs a raise, a promotion, whatever. I'm a manager and have been in the service industry for over 10 years and this young lady belongs in the service industry. She's polite, friendly, professional. I'd come back just for her.”

We stayed on the dining level as we had plans afterward for a comedy show, but we want to return to get the full experience of The Joinery! My boyfriend and I shared the Warm Crab Dip and Chip for an appetizer. I got the Braised Short Rib, which comes with goat cheese ravioli, and my bf got the Blackened Salmon. The bacon jam on top of the Blackened Salmon really ties it together, so delicious! The richness of the goat cheese ravioli with the savory flavors in the bone marrow bordelaise sauce paired so well together with the Braised Short Rib. All the food was phenomenal! The drinks were also tasty.”

It was seasoned well and cooked through. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. We had the option to eat outside, and I chose inside. However, the vibes outside was nice. 90 degrees, and you over looking a man made river. Definitely family oriented, its lower level but there are stairs so I'm not sure if it's wheelchair accessible. Overall I'd say try it out.”

“My wife has significant dietary issues that have made eating out nearly impossible. I've contacted several restaurants around the city and while a few have been accommodating, none have been more so than Flint. The restaurant manager gave me the Chef Derreck's personal email and he personally created a dish that met all of her requirements and tasted incredible. Prior to eating, the waiter, restaurant manager, and chef all came to our table to talk to my wife and I. We've had a hard time trusting restaurants when eating out because very few are able to accommodate her, so to have a chef go above and beyond for us made the evening very special. They cared in a way no other restaurant in the city has. I'll also say that the food was absolutely delicious. I had the meatloaf, which was the best I've ever had. We are definitely planning on coming back to Flint.”
