“Some absolutely delectable Neapolitan pizza in OKC! All the pizzas are 10 inch personal size and this was the perfect dinner that wasn't too heavy! I had the Capizzi which has mozzarella, ricotta, roasted red peppers, roasted garlic and pesto. I opted to add a drizzle of Sicilian hot honey for an extra $1 and I absolutely devoured this pizza when it was brought hot and fresh to my table. I loved the strong garlic flavor that the roasted garlic provided but if you're sensitive to garlic I could see how it may be a little overpowering! This restaurant was super cute inside and the price point was perfect for a nice spot out that didn't break the bank too much!“

The variety of different pizzas is lovely and I also can’t get over how good the orange lemonade and cherry limeades are. I’m not even a lemonade girl, but this one is just different!“
“Girlfriend and I have been coming here for about 3 years now. Never had a bad experience, food is great every single time and servers are awesome. We usually come here once a month or every other month. We always order the gusto pepperoni (the honey Sriracha makes this pizza), meatballs (the sauce is amazing) and the mussels (favorite thing that kept bringing us back but they took it off). Sadly like I just said they took the mussels off the menu. The soup that came with the mussels was delicious. Girlfriend and I would dip our left over crust in our left over soup because it was that good. Maybe it wasn't ordered enough or the profit in that dish wasn't too high, who knows. But sadly the dish they switched it out for (shrimp and Italian sausage skillet) wasn't nearly as good. We tried it to give it a shot and it was a disappointment. We probably won't be going back nearly as often now unless we really are craving their pizza and meatballs. Hopefully they add it back later on and when they do we'll be back. Also if management sees this yes the mussels were that good (: (: 4 out of 5 stars for the food. Everything else 5 out of 5. Food will be 5 out 5 once it's back.“
“I love this place!! It was my first time there and the staff was very hospitable. The pizza was awesome and I love that there are default slices if the specials don't sound appetizing (all of them sounded awesome!). I love the decore and was able to admire the posters and had some giggles from the funny posters. Also they were playing the Big Bang Theory for a bit which is always a plus in my book.“

“Wow! I waited entirely too long to give this place a try. The vibes are awesome. Very relaxed. The bartender, Sarah, was very knowledgable and friendly. The pizzas are all made in house and are neapolitan style. They have different specials every day of the week. I like how they make several different styles of beer to (this gives an appeal to multiple palates). I had the Pizza Pilsner and it tasted very crisp and fresh, but the beer that blew me away was their most recent Saison release. As far as the pizzas go they were delicious. We had the Margherita and a hot pepperoni. I loved the flavor of the pepperoni, but it did make it hard for the crust to hold up. The margherita was absolutely perfect. This seems like a great place ran by awesome people. I am looking forward to going back. Oh and definitely try their ranch (it is made in house).“

“2023 was the year I decided to try a lot of different pizza places in okc... this is in my top 4 (alongside Hall's, Empire Slice, and Pizza Gusto). Unlike the other 3, you can get Detroit style here which I particularly enjoy. I've also tried their wings and enjoyed them. Their New York style pizza is still great (tho I'd say Empire is a little better). As long as downtown parking doesn't bother you, then I definitely recommend this place.“

“The food was fantastic I had the bacon avocado sandwich and the chicken was juicy!! The service was outstanding great customer service here!! Very clean great atmosphere! The only thing was the floor is black and the have a small incline in the part we were seated. Should be a warning or indication I have a bad foot that doesn’t do well on slopped walkways. “I prefer other hideaway locations mostly because in recent visits the deep fried items (mushrooms and mozzarella sticks this visit) were overcooked or cooked in old grease. “I thought this was good. I got the Flavor City Burger. The burger had really good flavor and to be a little healthier, I opted for the Brussel sprouts vs the fries. Call me crazy I know but they were really good. Good alternative if you're trying to watch a few calories. My wife got the salmon with roasted cauliflower and the brussle sprouts. She really liked it. One other thing I'll mention is how nice we were treated. Ahmed I believe was his name was very nice and attentive. On top of that, the manager on duty (6pm on 7/8) was very considerate to try to work with the A/C because it was blowing right on us where we were sitting. Overall I would recommend this place. We arrived and it was kinda empty, parking available in front of business. Upon entering we were greeted quickly. “Just moved to the neighborhood and I have to say Heavy D's is one of the best things I've found here so far. The people who work there are very friendly and you can see they really care about the customers and what they do. I'd rather support a place like this than a chain pizza place with mediocre food and minimal service. I could see from the moment I walked in that this place has character and I like places like this so I'll be back soon. Oh and their pizza is really tasty too. I tried the Nuts and Bolts pizza. There were several ones that sounded really good but I'd never eaten there before and sometimes with the less traditional pizzas I love being adventurous but if it's a new place I don't always know what to expect. Based on the fairly normal pizza I had, I'd say they know what they're doing and I'd totally trust them that if I ordered some sort of off beat pie, it would taste great. I can't wait to try out more of their menu and call em up whenever I'm feeling too lazy to make dinner (which is quite often).“
