Sonic Drive-In in Oklahoma City

“Made a last minute decision to stop by on the way to a friends house, which is approximately 5 miles from my friends house, so I stopped in placed my which was prepared quickly and delivered by very nice carhop! I left and went to destination and the food was still hot and delicious!“

“I stop by this Sonic frequently. The food is good, the beverages are awesome. Recently I got a double smash burger and quite frankly it beat the competition, including some of the other Sonics close by. I wish I could get ice cream to go, but in the summer it melts before I get home.

“Friendly staff. Drink prices have gotten crazy high and that often leads to no tip. Usually they do good. Sometimes the food is bad. Got a beef jerky hotdog with a little bit of cheese. At least the bun was good. This location is a Five most of the time but sometimes it’s a One. So probably a B- overall. Which is 80%. Which is four out of five. So four stars. You will be pleased most of the time… like eight out of ten times.“

“Kendall the manager was really sweet and helpful order was a little messed up came back to the store and Kendall had already had everything fixed and ready to go just sucks I had no cash on me for a tip an amazing manager all around thank you again Kendall“

“Great food made while you wait. Great diet and sugar free options You would think someone in marketing would put a menu on both sides of the parking slot so the driver doesn’t have to always read the menu. I only go by myself because of that. As a marketing business, I’ve mentioned the double menu idea to friends over the years and everyone thinks it would solve the ordering problem. I use it as an example of businesses not going through the ordering process except at corporate. Definitely increase orders with everyone in the vehicle looking at all the options. With those great pictures children would drive parents crazy to go all the time.“

“We ordered drinks and waited over 20 minutes, which was a little frustrating, but the employee was very apologetic. The drinks tasted great, as always. Sonic usually gets the drinks, ice, and ice cream right every time. I am not as big of a fan of the food, though. Overall, it was alright aside from the unusually long wait.“

“Sonic is my go-to for quick, classic drive-in favorites! The chili cheese tots are iconic, and the drink selection is huge (try a slush!). Burgers are solid, service is generally fast via carhop, and it's perfect for a nostalgic, casual meal on the go. Definitely a reliable spot for fast food cravings.“

“I ordered on the app with 2 jalapeño ranches added to my order. I buzzed in to ask about them since it wasn't in my bag and was told the app was a glitch because they charge extra for sauces. It definitely isnt a glitch anywhere else.“

“The Route 44 cherry is absolutely the best way to cool down and fill up. I been working on mine about two hours now and it's still a slush. With this heat I figured it would have melted by now. Sonic has always done it right. I was there in the beginning and the #2 with tots and a strawberry shake is still America's best meal.“

“Order was fast and accurate, appreciated that they didn’t hand over a complete mess from overfilling the slush drinks like other locations do. The card reader wouldn’t work, and whoever was manning the tots station today went way too heavy on the salt (and included a bunch of salt packets no one asked for in my bag lol)“

“Sonic's drinks are so good that I almost always order one for each hand.
Bonus Bang - their burgers are delicious as are the onion rings and the tator tots!
Occasionally, it can take a little longer than it should to get your order out to your car, but I never really mind too much because it's easy to see that they're busy plus the order is always correct when they skate it out to your car door.
That's why they're known as 'America's Drive-In'!“

“This is by far the best Sonic around. You can tell their upkeep their oil really well and the food is hot and fresh. Never had a bad experience with them. There’s a Sonic maybe a mile from my house and I purposely drive up north to Rockwell to go to this one.“

“Sonic has certainly gone downhill. We ordered a small onion ring and got 3 rings for $3.19!!! That’s over a dollar each for three medium sized rings. The hamburger meat has once again been stepped down to what appears is a lower grade of odd tasting meat, in the last few months and the price has gone up. Sadly, our well known Oklahoma company is digressing and we will begin to look elsewhere for our snacks and quick meals….“

“this sonic is genuinely the best location of them all. kiernan(not sure if that’s how u spell it) gave us amazing service. we came pretty close to closing time which i know isn’t the best but she was still very cheerful and helpful. this location is always timely, staff is always kind and food is always great!“

“Frequent this Sonic in OKC alot for drinks really good services and food , but have been to others in Oklahoma that their services are trash ,have waited for more than 30 min for service along with other customers , also staff does not help or respond to customers , really making Sonic look terrible !!!“

“Sometimes they have wonderful deals I got to experience their a new smashburger. Smashburger was pretty good but I have to say their onion rings are delicious. Again it's a famous franchise Sonic Drive-In is everywhere so you'll always going to expect to find the same food so just stop in if you see a special deal and take advantage of it of course you got to love their drinks you get to mix and match and just create your own refreshing experience.“

“The food is as you expect from any sonic. I’ve definitely had worse. But the people here are amazing. The customer service is absolutely fantastic. Doesn’t matter who you get, or what time of day you go, there will be polite, kind, and friendly service. Definitely a nice change of pace since you can generally guarantee shitty service at any fast food place, but not this sonic.“

“They were a good crew, A++ experience.
The only noticeable drawback was stall 6 had an issue where the worker inside can speak, I can hear them on my side of the box outside, but the workers inside could not hear me. Which, only issue... Good Sonic crew.“

“Kind of an older sonic. Not big enough for it's location and there's some sort of auto repair place that is behind it that looks like you'd have to use the sonic parking area to access it. The food and drinks were good and our car hop was nice.“

“I stopped here after a visit to Tinsel Town. Let's just say, I ordered a coney with cheese and when I put it down thinking I would be able to pick it back up. I look over and see my grandson son eating away. Let's just say i didn't get another bite after putting it down.

“We pulled up and saw your average Sonic Drive-in. We placed our order thru the app, but it seemed to take forever to arrive. Onve we got our food, we were actually quite impressed. The chicken was tender and pleasantly moist, and the fries were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. This was easily one of the better Sonics we've eaten at.“

“honestly the best sonic here in okc, the other ones are more than often gross and bring out soggy fries or tater tots but this one brought out food that was definitely freshly cooked and the fries were so crispy and the $2 wraps were the best ive had from a sonic“

“Every time I come, Jim (or Jimbo) brings out my food and he is by far one of the best carhops I’ve ever met. He always has a positive attitude, is super sweet, and truly makes the experience better. I absolutely love coming when he’s here!“

Funny detail, I always ask for a specific amount of sauce(because I’ll have some extra in my car or something) and this is the first time I’ve ever gotten the exact amount back. ??“

“I generally don’t eat at sonic, haven’t in a long time but decided to at this location on North May, and may I just say the order taker, was an absolute delight. So very polite, and extremely helpful. She knows her job! Food was fresh, and hot! Only thing negative I would say the speakers need some updating it’s hard to hear!“

“Let's be honest. This particular location is not finest, considering it's adjacent to a freeway. Sonic is pretty much a drive through and move on type of business. Therefore atmosphere is really a personal experience in this case. How nice is YOUR car? Lol Service was top notch.“

“They may be short staffed, but food was perfectly made and delicious. The wait time was not out of the ordinary. However, if it is packed and short staffed, then be paitent. I honestly believe most of the customers that had a bad time, were probably rude. As in, rude from the beginning and do not know how to act like a decent human being. Just due to my personal experiences working in customer service, especially in Oklahoma. If there is something wrong with your order, then all you got to do is go back through the drive-thru. And if you did not check you bag before leaving, that is kind of on your fault. Thank you guys!“

“The store is filled with young women that are definitely not aware of their surroundings or flat do not care . Extremely loud, reach in front of you, and smell of extracurricular smoking. Out of alot of products, flat irons, sugar scrubs, different shades of base in the more warm tones.“

“I don’t usually write reviews, but this Sonic absolutely deserves it. Even though I live right next to a different Sonic, I always go out of my way to come to this one instead—and it’s 100% worth the extra drive every time. The service is quick, and most importantly, the staff are incredibly polite, friendly, and respectful. You can tell they care about their customers.

Everyone from the carhops to the people taking orders is just genuinely kind and helpful, which makes such a difference.

It’s rare to find a fast food place that consistently gives great service and makes you feel welcome, but this Sonic has never let me down. Highly recommend!“
