“This was my first time ever experiencing Ethiopian cuisine. It was a little bit awkward at first due there was no hostess at the front entrance for guidance. I didn't know if you would sit yourself or wait to be seated. Other than that, it was okay. The decorations were very nice. The smell of the food radiated throughout the restaurant. If you weren't hungry before you entered, you would be after taking in the smell of all the different spices. As I said before, this was my first time eating African cuisine, I decided to order the sample platter, per the recommendation of the waitress. In all honesty I can't remember the names of the food. However, surprisingly, the food that did stand out to me was actually one of the appetizers, the Vegetarian Sambusa. It has a spicy "kick" to it, but mild. I could eat that morning, noon and night. And I'm not even a vegetarian! And the cheese cake. That was the best cheese cake I've eaten in decades! I plan to return just for the above mentioned food selections alone, but to also try other selections on the menu as well.“
“Absolutely wonderful food! I had the beef o' soya and the seasoned fries, with an extra side of the plantains (Dodo). Everything was absolutely delicious - the beef was tender and seasoned well, and the fries were perfect! The plantains were amazing, too! I'll definitely be back!“
“As much as I love their food! I get so upset about how small their soup portion is. There's no reason we're paying $22 on this app for a small scope of soup. It's literally not enough soup for the two pounded yams they give you.“
“I’ve tried Nigerian food before but I have to say this place outdid every other place I’ve tried! Everything I tried was so full of flavor. The staff and owner are really kind and helpful. I definitely recommend trying this place out and stopping by if you’re ever downtown! 10/10 recommend“
