“Great place to meet friends. Large selection of beers, patio seating available, merchandise to take home, and great taste in music! Oktoberfest is a must to attend. Check out their event on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with events. Bonus Dog friendly! Don't forget to add Angry Scottsman to your list of places to visit for St Patty's Day weekend!“
“It was my first time venturing into a brewery. Walking through the doubles doors, down some steps and across a short floor to some people playing pickleball was my first cheese. Was so nervous about trying the drinks because I had a sweet wine taste set in my mouth already, but the tiny esses and peach bomb and something with jollyrancher taste became my favorite. Our bartender was very helpful with assisting me choose which flavors to try. So I tried one from each list. Cinnamon Pecan Bomb smelled yummy but was strong.“
“Most of OKC’s craft breweries are located near the downtown district, but not all. Madhopper Brewing is one of those exceptions, located in the northern reaches of town along Britton Road. Housed with a row of old brick structures, it is a perfect setting for a craft brewery, with plentiful shared parking a few feet west.I was impressed with Madhopper’s variety of brews, albeit with a limited number of offerings. I assembled a flight. King Palaron (Pale Ale; 5.6% ABV; 38 IBU), Brewnecorn (Imperial IPA; 9.5% ABV; 92 IBU), Hurticane (Farmhouse Ale; 6% ABV; 24 IBU), and Venus (Lasger; unknown stats) comprised my journey through the menu. They were all tasty renditions, but I especially found the King Palaron to my liking, so much so that I purchased a 64-ounce growler and had it filled with this to take home to Texas. Normally I would have gone with the Brewnecorn IPA, but its high ABV turned me off a bit. It’s hard to drink more than one without feeling it.My only concern about Madhopper is also one of its strengths: it is very family friendly. I applaud them as well as the young families I saw that Saturday night, because a lot of breweries are not kid-friendly. Similarly, some parents do not feel comfortable in such surroundings. But…and this may paint me as a grumpy old man…I think it is important for parents to control their little ones. There were several very young kids running and screaming throughout the taproom, seriously detracting from the ambience.Remember, a craft brewery is not the same as Chuck E. Cheese or Dave & Buster’s. I probably would have stayed longer, but it became a little too much to bear. Otherwise, great beer, and I look to return sometime, maybe later in the evening when little kids are supposed to be asleep.“
“Really good beer! I believe there is only one person working most of the time, but the service is adequate. You do have to go up to the bar to order, but that's the same for most other breweries. The only thing I wish is that they had more shaded areas on their patio and a few more comfy couches/chairs. Right now there are painted picnic tables outside and some cute little tables and chairs inside.“
“We are new to the OKC area and were itching to find a new brewery spot to hang out with our kids. The Big Friendly was an instant favorite! Amazing beer selection, kind staff, and beautiful building. There's a playground and taco restaurant directly across from the brewery as well, which was perfect for our toddler. We can't wait to come back!“
“My husband and I first stopped by Core Four to try the Marzan they debuted for their Oktoberfest this year. My husband, who is a classic Guinness guy, took a sip and said it may be the best beer he’d ever tasted. This from a guy who is the opposite of hyperbolic?. While in Dublin for Thanksgiving break, we did the connoisseur tour at the Guinness distillery. When the bartender hosting the tour asked everyone what their favorite beers were, and people mentioned crafts brews from their locales (or Guinness:), my husband said the Marzan at Core Four Brewery in OKC. Proud to have a brewery right here in OKC creating beers on par with the world’s best!“
“Wow! I waited entirely too long to give this place a try. The vibes are awesome. Very relaxed. The bartender, Sarah, was very knowledgable and friendly. The pizzas are all made in house and are neapolitan style. They have different specials every day of the week. I like how they make several different styles of beer to (this gives an appeal to multiple palates). I had the Pizza Pilsner and it tasted very crisp and fresh, but the beer that blew me away was their most recent Saison release. As far as the pizzas go they were delicious. We had the Margherita and a hot pepperoni. I loved the flavor of the pepperoni, but it did make it hard for the crust to hold up. The margherita was absolutely perfect. This seems like a great place ran by awesome people. I am looking forward to going back. Oh and definitely try their ranch (it is made in house).“
“I am not much of beer drinker, but I went on a brewery tour with some friends and this was our first stop. As soon as you walk in, you feel 80s-90s nostalgia vibes. The decor is so vibrant and retro. From records and video games, to comics and actions figures. I tried their signature beer they are known for, it really has the coolest story behind it. I also had samples of a few other kind before committing to a complete pour. That was a really nice option to have, especially because I don't know much about beer. It's a super cool place to host an event centered around some brews. Either way it goes, it worth the pop in.“
“Hands-down, the best craft brewery in OKC! They kick out delicious new beers every couple weeks, and my wife and I always discover a new brew we love. Super friendly staff and a laid-back atmosphere. If you love experimenting with inventive new craft beers, you should stop by. Highly recommended!“
“One of our favorite places to eat. Our 16 year old son even asked to go here for his birthday meal. It's about 30 minutes each way from our house and it is worth it. The hunters schnitzel is amazing! If they ever bring back the Tuesday buffet I will be eternally grateful.Parking: Plenty of parking I. Lot next to building has plenty of parking.“
“Beautiful brewery with an amazing atmosphere! This is the perfect place to gather with friends as they have a variety of types of brews to satiate any preference. My favorite is the Nada Nada, an amazing fruited sour and my second favorite is the Deal or No Deal, a pickled gose. Service is absolutely amazing here and they have an excellent selection of merchandise.“
“Best place in Oklahoma City. Great customer service and awesome staff. Attentive and so courteous. The Native Amber is very delightful too. I highly recommend the tap room. The tour was also super informative and educational. Love the team and management. Love All of the new things coming in 2024!!“
“Such a great brewery!Incredible space. Very open and modern. I really enjoy being able to see the brewing process and barrels.Lots of drink options, I love my sours. We got a flight to so that we can try more! Affordable. They have games and tv’s and my favorite. An outdoor space with a cool view of downtown.“
“We had a joint 40th birthday party and rented out the entire space. I cannot say enough great things about our experience in planning our event as well as having it there. Everyone we worked with was great. From the owner, to the cook, to the managers, to the bartenders. They were easy to work with and so accommodating. The night was perfect! We will be repeat customers for sure!“
“Great beers, great vibe! Love the covered patio. That custom sound system is fire. Friendly service. One of my favorite parts if meeting new people, they are just so friendly. My top beer choices.. all year long Pocket Change lager, for cold days the super smooth sterling stout (Irish stout).“
“Service from our waitress was great, she was very nice and on top of service for us. The food was actually good too, with the only thing not up to par being the chicken fried steak. Granted, I am a spoiled chicken fried steak eater here in Oklahoma. But it just wasn't the right type of fry for it. However the fish and chips were great and the pretzel appetizer, amazing. Great hushpuppies and fries too.“
“We went during one of the slow times after Valentine's day with our child and the food was great. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly and our child enjoyed her food as well. The waitress who served us was very nice and did a wonderful job.“
“The Parmesan Crusted Chicken was very disappointing. I'm not sure what kind of chicken is used or if it goes from freezer to stove, but it was tough! Not tender at all! The potatoes were okay and the crispy brussels were... meh. Unfortunately, I'm still hungry so I'll be having ice cream to supplement the meal I didn't eat. My daughter ate all of her blackened salmon, so apparently that was good.***Update.. Since I ordered the food to-go I couldn't notify a team member in the moment. I did however call and speak to a manager today that took care of me. Thank you for the awesome customer service, Gabriel!“
“Our experience was very pleasant, even on a busy Saturday lunch hour! Service was friendly and timely. Our daughter enjoyed interacting and playing with the staff. The food was delicious as always and a Pizookie was the perfect way to cap off the meal.“
“I have been impressed with this cinema over the last year. Their food isn't bad and they have lots of drinks options. I have been impressed with the selection of new and older movies they have been showing. The tickets are a good price and the facilities are nice. I would definitely recommend this theater.“
“We went for a birthday dinner and were not disappointed. It is a great relaxed atmosphere and the food is awesome. I don't like fish, but I got it here and I loved it.Everybody enjoyed their meal, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was great and relaxed. One of our favorite places to go to“
“Normally a good experience. Food was rung up wrong even though the bartender was informed twice and the order was incorrect but I didn't complain. The food was good ?. The servers should pay attention to customers NEEDING service. Lolligagging.“
“Super disappointed that last beautiful Sunday of February. February 24,2024 at 3:15pm. My " must go to" place in Oklahoma City. Patiently, waiting on a sunny day to get a refreshment. The only bartender was so busyI ordered one cold refething. Waiting 15 to 20minutes for it. I was feeling sad. However, nice day.“
