Came through here a couple weekends ago. The coffee was pretty good, but not exactly revolutionary. The book store tied into the coffee shop was really cute, and was nice to walk around and shop while the barista made the coffee. Overall, would definitely come back.“

“This Black-owned coffee shop is run very efficiently. You can tell the ladies behind the coffee bar are passionate about their jobs, they have great chemistry when working with one another, and their food is fresh and delicious! I have been here twice now, and these ladies always have a strong welcoming sense when you step in the doors.

I would love for the drinks to be sweeter, but they have sweetener options, and are willing to make the drinks sweeter upon request. This is such a nice, cozy spot to get some work done. I wish they were open longer, I’d be here all day if they were!“

“Charging $4-5 dollars for a microwave burrito is a little nuts. the coffee is okay, not great, not bad, but everything here seems to be massively inflated to be close to Starbucks prices at 1/3 the quality. also, if I'd been trying to eat said burrito in the car, it was half full of liquid, they didn't offer any napkins, so that could have been a huge mess...“

I witnessed the old manager go out of her way to be kind and helpful to a homeless man, giving him some coffee and helping him clean up a spill while he was putting creamer in. “I go to this scooter's often like probably way more than I should and everybody that works there along with the manager Forest is exceptional. They are always friendly helpful and I always order weird stuff just to try to get them but they get it every time I have never had a bad drink from this place ever.
