“I love the new location! It is a great place to just hang out and talk to friends. The beers are a bit expensive, but there is nothing like them on the market. They are bold and unique so be prepared for a flavor experience! The best part of the new location is the parking! There are tons of spots now!“
“Frenzy is our go to every Monday night for Singo. It's a family friendly environment so I never question bringing our toddler. It's one of the things we look forward to every week. The staff is fun, approachable and really do help create a fun atmosphere.“
“This is a family favorite and we never fight about where to eat as long as one is nearby. I always get the chopped and chipped nachos (pulled pork bbq nachos) for an appetizer or an entree. There are plenty of nachos for three people and they will probably fill you up before the main course arrives. Another favorite of mine is the bbq chicken salad. It is delicious and easy to transition to if you are like me and trying to eat more salads and less cheese burgers. I do wish I had the option of a steak. I have only found one location that had a steak on the menu.“
“Most of OKC’s craft breweries are located near the downtown district, but not all. Madhopper Brewing is one of those exceptions, located in the northern reaches of town along Britton Road. Housed with a row of old brick structures, it is a perfect setting for a craft brewery, with plentiful shared parking a few feet west.I was impressed with Madhopper’s variety of brews, albeit with a limited number of offerings. I assembled a flight. King Palaron (Pale Ale; 5.6% ABV; 38 IBU), Brewnecorn (Imperial IPA; 9.5% ABV; 92 IBU), Hurticane (Farmhouse Ale; 6% ABV; 24 IBU), and Venus (Lasger; unknown stats) comprised my journey through the menu. They were all tasty renditions, but I especially found the King Palaron to my liking, so much so that I purchased a 64-ounce growler and had it filled with this to take home to Texas. Normally I would have gone with the Brewnecorn IPA, but its high ABV turned me off a bit. It’s hard to drink more than one without feeling it.My only concern about Madhopper is also one of its strengths: it is very family friendly. I applaud them as well as the young families I saw that Saturday night, because a lot of breweries are not kid-friendly. Similarly, some parents do not feel comfortable in such surroundings. But…and this may paint me as a grumpy old man…I think it is important for parents to control their little ones. There were several very young kids running and screaming throughout the taproom, seriously detracting from the ambience.Remember, a craft brewery is not the same as Chuck E. Cheese or Dave & Buster’s. I probably would have stayed longer, but it became a little too much to bear. Otherwise, great beer, and I look to return sometime, maybe later in the evening when little kids are supposed to be asleep.“
“Beautiful brewery with an amazing atmosphere! This is the perfect place to gather with friends as they have a variety of types of brews to satiate any preference. My favorite is the Nada Nada, an amazing fruited sour and my second favorite is the Deal or No Deal, a pickled gose. Service is absolutely amazing here and they have an excellent selection of merchandise.“
“Great beers, great vibe! Love the covered patio. That custom sound system is fire. Friendly service. One of my favorite parts if meeting new people, they are just so friendly. My top beer choices.. all year long Pocket Change lager, for cold days the super smooth sterling stout (Irish stout).“
“We had a joint 40th birthday party and rented out the entire space. I cannot say enough great things about our experience in planning our event as well as having it there. Everyone we worked with was great. From the owner, to the cook, to the managers, to the bartenders. They were easy to work with and so accommodating. The night was perfect! We will be repeat customers for sure!“
“Service from our waitress was great, she was very nice and on top of service for us. The food was actually good too, with the only thing not up to par being the chicken fried steak. Granted, I am a spoiled chicken fried steak eater here in Oklahoma. But it just wasn't the right type of fry for it. However the fish and chips were great and the pretzel appetizer, amazing. Great hushpuppies and fries too.“
“We went during one of the slow times after Valentine's day with our child and the food was great. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly and our child enjoyed her food as well. The waitress who served us was very nice and did a wonderful job.“
“The Parmesan Crusted Chicken was very disappointing. I'm not sure what kind of chicken is used or if it goes from freezer to stove, but it was tough! Not tender at all! The potatoes were okay and the crispy brussels were... meh. Unfortunately, I'm still hungry so I'll be having ice cream to supplement the meal I didn't eat. My daughter ate all of her blackened salmon, so apparently that was good.***Update.. Since I ordered the food to-go I couldn't notify a team member in the moment. I did however call and speak to a manager today that took care of me. Thank you for the awesome customer service, Gabriel!“
“I have been impressed with this cinema over the last year. Their food isn't bad and they have lots of drinks options. I have been impressed with the selection of new and older movies they have been showing. The tickets are a good price and the facilities are nice. I would definitely recommend this theater.“
“Normally a good experience. Food was rung up wrong even though the bartender was informed twice and the order was incorrect but I didn't complain. The food was good ?. The servers should pay attention to customers NEEDING service. Lolligagging.“
“You have to try their BAM BAM beers! Excellent selections of beers, and they also have wines now too. Their staff was friendly and helpful. Zac, Reed, Liz, and Sarah took care of our party, and we love coming in for Trivia on Wednesday nights when Zac is hosting!“
