“This place is very consistent with their quality and their recipes. I love the oxtail, and the jerk chicken. The people come here for the curry goat as well. The staff is very friendly and polite. This is a local Favorite of mine and many others. So when you come to Oklahoma city be sure to get you some Carican Flavors. Oh and the plantains are a usual for me too, as well as the cornbread. Never a disappointment. Also this kitchen is not wasteful so get there Early or you may miss out of some of the favorites. I believe they do take call in orders but I am not completely sure.Dietary restrictions: This establishment does not over season the food and it is still full of flavor.“
“The food is amazing and freshly made. The cabbage was new for me, with the mixed vegetables inside, but it went well with the rest of the plate. I am very pleased with the service and food experience. I could only get one photo of one of the plates (I couldn’t hold back on the Salmon Rasta Pasta plate). The oxtails I can only say that….just go get in your car and go try the food. You will be amazed by the level of flavors coming from the inside of a food truck. ??✅“
“We caught them open on the last weekend for the year. They will be back in January, and they are only open weekends. Everything we tried was amazing. I lived in NYC, and it was like being back there. The food is made with love and steeped in good memories. The Roti was hot and amazing. The chicken patty was crispy and full of goodness. The stewed chicken and pork, the curry potatoes, stewed vegetables, and rice were cooked perfectly. If you like exotic flavors, beyond jerk chicken, this is the place for you. Don't forget the pepper sauce. The menu includes something for everyone, including vegans. It's worth the drive, the wait, and the prices are reasonable for the amount you get. Definitely recommend.“
“Today was our first visit. They warned us that it would be super spicy, keep some water nearby. It was super spicy and it was terrific! Chicken, oxtail, all this sides. We loved it all. This is food I will crave. (Please add ribs - they’d be amazing w your smoky spicy flavors.)“
