“The atmosphere is great, the staff make this place what it is. The selection is the best in the area. I really enjoy it here, be prepared to stay longer than you planned. They have food that I have not tried but everyone else says it is very good.“
“We went for trivia night. Love the atmosphere, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Trivia night was super fun. Unfortunately no one in my group cared for their cocktails. We all have very different taste preferences and tried 4 cocktails between us but none of us cared for any of them. I know you cannot please everyone but just an honest review. We loved the atmosphere though and hope to go back at some point.“
“This is a great place to go for an ice cold beer, a yummy drink or glass of wine. They also have really good food and it's a fun atmosphere! When you go there, you feel like family! They have 2 pool tables and a few dart boards. They have karaoke nights and some of the best bands play there. I could go on and on.“
“The waitress was awesome! We ordered 4 hamburgers of different styles, 2 beers , 1 diet coke, 1 sprite total $107 and change not included is the tip. Not your typical menu either, you have to download it on your phone. Food was good but not $100+ good atmosphere was not of a pleasant outside view but better than the dark inside bar seen.“
“Really fantastic experience from both the staff and the food. The steak melts in your mouth, and there’s not a single bad side on the menu. My 1 complaint would be that the “onion rings” listed on the menu are really more like onion strings, but they still taste good. Feel like this is going to be a regular spot going forward.“
“UnWine/ The JAr Room is a complete vibe! It's a very laid back atmosphere that offers a wide selection of wines, bourbon, whiskey, and cigars. The staff is great and very knowledgeable! One side is the wine bar which is nonsmoking. Then when you walk through the black door you enter The JAR Room named in honor of one of the owner's late brother that served in the US Navy. They offer karaoke, open mic, coffee with a twist on Saturday mornings! This is a hidden gem! Support local and support BOB!“
“My wife and I went on Friday, 1/6/22. Apart from being a dining experience, this was also half art installation and half magic show. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was presented beautifully and the colors and textures (and aromas) were quite pleasing. Each course was served by a chef or member of staff who explained the ingredients and flavor profiles. They were all knowledgeable and seemed, justifiably, proud of what they were doing. The chefs served three courses with ingredients I normally detest, butternut squash and beets. The winter tartlet and a savory custard both included the squash and they were amazing! The beet came with the tenderloin course and it was so smoky and sweet, I got a little verklempt.Because it's a tasting menu, the courses are smaller then an average main; we had the 10-course menu and left satisfied and very full. The Focaccia and the Tendeloin courses could have been a meal all on their own. I don't drink, so I skipped the wine pairings, but I learned that they offer a non-alcoholic pairing and I regret not trying it.The dessert course were life affirming. There was a Tea & Snack course with spiced beef tea and aebelskivers which almost made my wife cry (in a good way). The apple sorbet was gorgeous! It was like biting into a green apple, tart followed by sweet. The color and textures were beautiful. This was a wonderful experience. The staff were attentive and kind and seemed invested in what they were doing. The room is small, but I didn't feel cramped and had no issues having a conversation with my wife. Our seats were right next to the kitchen and it was a treat to watch the chefs at work.Standouts, for me, were the Sunchoke with miso and apple and the Bok Choy with tofu and mushroom. I was delighted with our evening and can't wait to return.“
