The place was super busy and it was a 45 min wait to sit on the patio which looked super cool! We didn’t have a reservation but we were completely fine with the bar. Left buzzed and satisfied. “My first time at Mexican Radio. I just came in to get a Margarita and my daughter wanted something to eat and you have to have some chips and salsa. The drink was really good. “At an unassuming corner of a strip mall, it's clean and well-lit. The music was just a tad too loud, tad too obnoxious. Service was friendly, food was hearty and good. I got the Camarones al Mojo de Ajo; shrimp was fresh and tasty. Hubs got the Guiso Ranchero with added eggs on top, his was delicious. Will be back to try other stuff.“

I ordered the carne asada tacos & they were absolutely amazing. The parking is great. It's not a huge establishment, & the service was only okay, but that may have been because of the size of our group. I definitely recommend it.“

On a sides note, we bought the dinners and took the sides home (Latin fried potatoes and lime cilantro rice) and threw them in a breakfast hash... OMG it added that little bit of je ne sais quoi. “We were in OKC for my daughter's birthday. We had reservations at another place but it was prom weekend or something and there was absolutely no parking. Good thing for us because Abuelos was great! The peach margarita was probably the best I've had. The food was delicious and they even let the birthday girl choose a dessert for free off the menu. She got the tres leches cake. It was wonderful, tasted like ice cream. The staff was amazing, especially our server McCartney!“

“Amazing service the staff are friendly and the drinks never run out I love their outside eating area you can sit and talk privately because it's empty most of the time their drinks are good not too strong not too weak and the food is always perfect the way you order it and I'm a picky eater this place is WORTH the price I left a 20$ tip for my waitress since we were the only people outside at the time and also ordered the most expensive thing they have(steak with shrimp)and we still got out for 95$ total for 2 with a decent tip“
“This is a favorite visit for my wife and I. It’s a great place to stop before or after an Oklahoma City Thunder game. We usually go after the taco plate and we either get chicken or the shredded brisket. You can’t go without the queso and chips it’s a must have. The tacos are phenomenal and the sides that go with them are very good as well. I also love the adult beverages that they have. The environment is very chill and if you catch them at the right time you can get in and out. The outdoor seating around the river walk is definitely an added benefit to this location. Bathroom was clean and the restaurant is handicap accessible. Very small parking lot directly behind the restaurant and typically have better luck parking at the bass pro shop parking lot and walking down.Parking: Small lot behind the restaurant free parking and a small walk if you park at the bass pro shop free parking.“

I was not impressed with the mixed vegetables, it was very muddled, nothing bright or veggie looking. The set up (cheese, chips and salsa) was very good.“

“I am not a huge fan of food trucks usually because you have to yell over the generators to order, and then wait too long to get your order with no chair for a mediocre meal. Some of this holds true for Blue Donkey, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the chicken tacos and the side of Donkey Poo (avocado chunks, tomato and cucumber salad). The chicken taco had just the right amount of heat and really hit the spot while we we attending a block party and movie night in Surrey Hills! The side was healthy and refreshing. Now if we could solve the wait time and seating issues! Just joking, it's a food truck folks. Suggestion to owner- move the generator behind the truck, it is too loud. Blue Donkey is worth a try.“

I was greeted by the Stephen (Manager) and Ashley (Cashier) with a warm welcome and lots of suggestions once they found out it was our first time visiting. Stephen came by our table and spoke with us about how they smoke their own meat and make salsa/guacamole fresh each day. After our food came Stephen came by and checked on us several times to make sure we liked our meal. The food was phenomenal, service was wonderful and atmosphere was great. I would highly suggest you give Hacienda Taco a try and try one of Stephens margaritas!“
