“The 20 course Omakase dinner was outstanding - every bite was worth it and fabulous. It started with bubbles and caviar as an amusement bouche and it just keeps going from there. My favorites were the toro uni rice hand roll, uni pasta, chawanmushi with ikura, Wagyu with quail egg, and all of the nigiri was sooo fresh. It was a fun and cozy intimate dinner with 7 seats total. They sent us home with a menu and a Polaroid picture of us attached, such a cute touch.“
“Excellent dining experience and so much fun with friends!“

“I had the sashimi dinner, 1 order of inari, salmon, and salmon roe, all of which (along with the wasabi, ginger, and soy sauce) was pretty delicious. Service was pretty good, quick, and friendly.
I was looking at the restuarant decor, was talking to my server Yoriko and was pleasantly surprised to hear of Japanese people in Oklahoma, as I've lived in Texas my entire life and was only visiting for Game 7 Spurs vs OKC. With that being said, this restuarant is authentic and I recommend.“

“First let's just look how gorgeous this is right now. The detail in everything is impeccable. The fish quality, the rice, the seaweed, the crab, the cucumber, the avocado, the wasabi(fresh wasabi, not artificial tube/burning your mouth wasabi), the pickled ginger, and the soy sauce are all quality ingredients. Yes it's Kikoman soy sauce but they're actually an authentic Japanese brand. Nothing was too fishy, the salmon is fresh, the red snapper is buttery, and the texture of everything really is on point. You will not be getting mushy old ingredients here. Everything is made to order, no flavors are overpowering. You can genuinely taste the effort put into sourcing every single ingredient. Try them if you haven't. I recommend the California and the Rainbow rolls. But I know the rest are just as good because they all use the same ingredients. The staff are always extremely pleasant. They're more than just smiling faces; they are genuinely kind, caring, and take pride in their service. Even though the inside is smaller and cozy they are bustling back and forth to get orders out with grace. They can get busy at times but they're definitely worth any wait time. Good people, great food, great atmosphere/lighting, and great ingredients!“

“Food is usually really good. Tonight I waited an hour for my to go order which was fine but I don’t appreciate paying full price and not getting mushrooms or sprouts. My egg roll order was short and the yum yum sauce tasted funny. Won’t stop me from going back, just think you guys can do way better.“

“One thing about Ichiban is that it's going to hit EVERY SINGLE TIME. I order to go often to work when I want something light, fresh, and delicious. The poke bowls are highly customizable and are perfect every time. I don't know why I took so long to write a review. EVERYTHING I've had from here (poke bowls, sushi, tempura, fried rice, Thai tea) has been exceptionally good every time. ✨️✨️✨️✨️“

“I am undergoing cancer treatment and Sakura's teriyaki chicken is the the first thing that tasted good after chemo. It is delicious and such a good source of protein that I come almost every other day hahaha. All their food is made fresh when you order it which is a requirement for my bone marrow transplant. It reheats wonderfully too! Thanks guys please open a franchise in Bristow, Oklahoma.“

“Smelled so clean, staff was amazingly inviting and not bothersome at all, the food was more than delicious, and the prices were very fair! The cherry on top was that our waitress asked US if we wanted drinks to go. We didnt have to ask her! ❤️ We did go on a Tuesday so Im not sure how they are with a busier crowd but we loved it. We will definitely be back many times!“

“The food here is delicious, the people are very friendly, atmosphere is great too. If you’re not a sushi fan they have other options that are great like the hot bowl, Mongolian chicken hot bowl is my favorite. Once you walk in the door you’ll be glad you did.“

“So what its a gas station? This food is great, ive had it almost weekly for years. The chicken fried rice, egg rolls and crab ragoon are some of the best in Oklahoma. The owner is amazing and always know his customers names (,long time) sushi is made right in front of you and has a clean set up. This place needs to have delivery again haha.“

“This Japanese steak house has been a staple in northwest OKC for years. I have celebrated many birthdays here. The food is still very good and consistent every time. I feel like the decor has not changed either in all these years. The dried up fountains in the eating rooms might need a little refresher. Our chef was not very entertaining this last trip either. No fancy food tricks or shots of shrimp in your face. Kind of disappointing. I hope this was just a slow night and a chef in training because I have lots of love for this icon of food history in Northpark Mall. I will still return soon and hope for the best.“

“My husband and I wanted something different from Volcano. We read the reviews and it did not disappoint. The green tea was so good and dint taste like it came in a bag, the spicy edamame had amazing flavor and didn't taste like it was swimming in sodium, and the sushi tasted so fresh. This is a place we will absolutely come back to. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and intimate“
