Had a great time celebrating my birthday with my family. Also I was surprised that this place was kid friendly and made eating with children easy. The waitress even brought out a toy box that had so many little toys the Christen got to pick from. We came on a very busy day so of course the area we sat at was a bit tight for our part lot of 8 but it still worked and was a great dining experience. Always great food! One thing we never bore of is the hospitality and service, though. We were celebrating our anniversary, and everyone greeted us accordingly - from the maitre d' to the wait staff and others. They accommodated our children paying for our meal over the phone and kept it a complete surprise. It was a very special evening. Thank you!
I have been to Frida Southwest in the past but my husband had not. I talked him into date night and he was so happy we went. We started with the calamari appetizer which was so good. I had the sea bass with risotto and he had the chicken which also came with risotto. Both entrees were delicious and we took home half of both meals for dinner the next night. We wanted to try the August dessert of the month which was a bananas foster pie. Hubby said he'll come back just for the pie....read full review

The friendly and attentive staff provide excellent service, making customers feel well taken care of. The food is fantastic, with the salmon special, spare ribs, seabass, and skirt steak all receiving high praise. The kids' quesadilla with fries, lobster tail, and shrimp ceviche are also noteworthy. Many dishes are gluten-free, giving guests more options. The service is always friendly and helpful, making it a great spot for Sunday brunch or any special occasion. Outdoor seating is available on nice days. A seafood tamale appetizer was fabulous, and the dark chocolate pistachio cheesecake is probably the best restaurant dessert.
