We come for the AMAZING lamb it is 10/10. We also enjoyed the belly of the beast pork belly roll as well as the cherry blossom roll which was so fresh! Just the right amount of rice! Constructive criticism (server forgot hand towels which I don’t care it’s just a fun part of the experience)

AKAI Sushi is a wonderful addition to the Wheeler District in OKC! We enjoyed the Crispy Brussels Sprouts and Chicken Karaage as appetizers. And we loved the Sake Flight (a variety of 4 Sakes) to help us determine what Sake we REALLY would like to order in the future. The meals we enjoyed: Sashimi Platter, Shogun, and Short Rib Fried Rice. The fish was very fresh and tasty and the ribs and fried rice were delicious too. Also, we enjoyed the Matcha Crème Brûlée and the Seasonal Sorbet: Peach with a sake soak. The waitress and chef and manager and even the owner visited with us to see how we enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere was great and we all look forward to going back soon!

A group of friends and I had an amazing evening here! We went on a Monday night and sicne we had a group, were allowed to sit in the dining area as long as we ordered at the bar. What an experience. Staff is incredibly attentive and kind and let us order a few items not on the Monday night menu as it was available. Every single food item we ordered was divine. Amazing drinks. Worth every penny. Their crispito tacos and the matcha crème brûlée were a true stand out to me. We also got to enjoy a run of Karaoke, which I hope they continue on in the future!

The most magical omakase experience, blew San Diego sushi out of the water! Our server Benji was attentive and knowledgeable with game-changing anecdotes and tips to enjoy our food even more. Presentation is out of this world, and the fish quality is the best we had ever tasted in-land, which makes sense when we heard that they fly their wagyu and fish in from Japan every few days. Will absolutely be coming back, and we have a new end-cap to place on what sushi can be, period.

This is the best authentic upscale Japanese restaurant we have been to here in the South. The Cook is from Nobu Restaurant in Chicago. AKAI restaurant air ships in their fish from Japan!! Flavors are right on. The Nobu Master Chef Checked to make sure his dishes were right on for two of his Japanese American Guests. Us! Awesome experience, wonderful food. Super fresh Nigri Sushi.
