Alvarado's Mexican Restaurant

We come almost every Friday night. It's a quiet little restaurant. No chaos. I love the quick in and out. The waitress and hostess are always kind and polite. But tonight we were turned away at 745 pm, because they said they were closing. On our Friday date night. Where we come every Friday night. At 745 pm. When their website and door says they close at 9 pm. No explanation. No please come back tomorrow. Nothing. Just more than a little disappointed tonight.

My thoughts on Alvarado's is all positive, very friendly staff and the food is very tasty.

The waitress was super friendly and kept our drinks filled , while making sure we had everything we needed. The food was good! The jalapeño rice and Frijoles Rancheros was on point!! You will be full for sure when you leave. I will definitely be back and be recommending this business to others.

This place is one of the best quick Mexican food spots in the area. Food is always really good every time I've gone there. Two different kinds of queso, red salsa, and relish all part of the normal setup! Lunch specials are some of the tasties deals on the menu for your mouth and your wallet.

Polite, courteous staff...but the food has lost its flavor... its bland & its a shame, we used to frequent the restaurant

Unfortunately, I was that guy with the screaming kid. But the staff were EXTREMELY accommodating in that they simply brought my child a sopaipilla without prompt. Very thoughtful. Food was fantastic, very attentive waiters/waitresses. Will always recommend this place.

Our food was good and service was good. My daughter's both love this place andeat here frequently. My son and daughter-in-law didn't like what they ordered.

Wife brought me here for lunch to try. Friendly staff, spacious seating and clean restaurant. The chips were okay, I didn’t care too much for the cheese sauces or the salsa but manageable. Wife had the beef fajitas which she enjoyed and the meat was tender and flavored well. I had the street tacos with whole beans and amazingly grilled corn. The meat was seasoned well and tender with the tacos and beans were good, the corn was outstanding. Overall a good lunch
