Applebee’s Grill + Bar

They lost my steak dinner. Brought me one when my family was almost finished with their meals. Good thing I had ordered appetizers! Of course the manager ended up taking my steak off because my family literally was finishing their meals which he saw when he personally brought mine with his apology. As far as the food goes, all items ordered were prepared correctly and delicious.

The restaurant has a very relaxing atmosphere. The turnaround for the order and the food coming to the table is not long at all! I would recommend this Applebees to any one I know for quick, friendly service that doesn't cost a ton.

My friends and I decided to go to Applebees for their $1 margarita special on a Tuesday night. We got there around 9:30 PM and the parking lot was pretty empty. Then we proceeded to the front of the restaurant waiting by the host stand. My friends and I all have worked in restaurants, so we know it can be crazy at times. Bartenders glanced at us a few times and servers walked by us at least 5 times. No one acknowledged us or even made eye contact. It was past 10 minutes at this point. We were thinking about just going up to a manager. Then a white couple walked in and the manager proceeded to glance at them RIGHT away somehow, and sat them down. They still did not acknowledge my Mexican friends and I, who is also foreign (Pakistani). They still did not come back to sit us. We proceeded to go to the location on 3rd street out of our way to get a margarita. They had great service and no complaints at all there. However, we will NEVER return to Applebee's again after their behavior last night. I wish I could say it was just a coincidence.

It is hard for me to rate Applebee's. Sometimes I am delighted with my meal and other times not so much. Last trip was a not so much. The time before last was great. I'm going to rate it 3 stars, not comment much and try harder to enjoy my next visit. C

I had a study group meeting there a couple of days ago,and our server was named Ebony,and she was awesome! But unfortunately, after she had got off,a tall husky white guy took over her section(we were seating at a booth) and waited on us,if that's what you want to call it smh. He was so rude! And never took our dessert order. Also the food was just okay, nothing stood out. I'll never go back, Chili's can have my money any day over this bland place!
