Jessica was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to explain many of their savory pies. The atmosphere is simple, kind, and welcoming. My wife and I come a couple of times a month, and we try something new each visit.
Driving past without stopping is a mistake of the highest order. A fried pie drive by is just wrong. I honestly can’t tell how many times we have had these handfuls of happiness, no matter because it will never be enough. Sweet, creamy or savory yo cannot go wrong.
We tried the cherry and blackberry fried pies, and both were delicious! The place was packed when we arrived, but the line moved quickly and efficiently. The pies had a perfect balance of sweet, fruity filling and savory, flaky dough. The only thing that could have made them even better might be a light glaze or a dusting of powdered sugar for that extra touch.
The staff was friendly, and the restrooms were clean—a definite plus for a busy roadside stop. All in all, a great...
