Billy Sims BBQ

We arrived at the Chickasha, OK restaurant a little after 5:00 pm today. No one was at the front counter to wait on us, had to speak loudly to get someone’s attention so we could order. Both the pulled pork and brisket were barely warm. My husband went to inquire if the oven/warmer was working. He could see that it was set to 135, but the employee said the door seal needed to be replaced! She offered to remake our food, like that would help. We have no idea how long the meat had been at an unsafe temperature and are hoping we don’t get sick from eating it (didn’t finish it). We won’t be going back. That is a serious health violation.

Paid $70 for a holiday ham and it was dried out and tasteless. So disappointed bc it was my first Thanksgiving.

Great food. Great staff. Great new location. I had lunch at Billy Sims BBQ in Joplin , MO and enjoyed wonderful brisket and was very impressed with the staff. Jennifer, Dontavious, and Brandon provided great service and a very clean environment. I will be back often.

The tea tasted like corn, the corn was super sour, and my skinny spud which on the website says comes with sour cream, butter, and chives and you could add cheese for $1, which I did. I only got cheese on my potato. And then when I called the restaurant, Brandi and the male manager (never caught his name) tried to argue with me that I was in the wrong. Yes I realize I sound like a complainer but this was just all in all a horrible experience. The restaurant was also only quiet because it was empty and yet still somehow dirty and run down.

First of all this experience at this restaurant doesn’t even deserve to have this rate. I have been ripped off. Ordered delivery of food and NEVER RECEIVED THE ORDER BUT WAS CERTAINLY CHARGED FOR THE MONEY OF THE FOOD. So, after an hour of waiting and getting the run around on the phone, I went to store and really got brushed off. The employees acted like they didn’t care and manager WAS NOT IN LOCATION TO DISCUSS THE SITUATION. I was told by an employee that they were told by manager to not fill order, delivery company came by while I was there and was told they tried to pickup said order 4 other times before. I am out $73.58. WHO HAS MY MONEY THAT HAS BEEN WITHDRAWN FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT-BILLY SIMS OR DASH DASH? No one seems to know or care. We have eaten here regularly, never ever again!!!!!

We had the most awesome loaded baked potatoes
It was the simple take out order
Bought a large container of Baked Potato Salad
Supposedly they were out of lids so the cashier kept in the back with her

Randy and Emma were the best! I enjoy Billy Sims quite often. The food is always fresh, delicious and hot. The workers are an absolute pleasure! Definitely recommend for delicious BBQ.
