Went for on a Sunday evening with a friend for jazz night -- one of the best bar experienes I have ever had in OKC. Cozy and warm atmosphere but still had all the best elements of a rugged dive bar. Very loud and hard to carry a conversation on jazz night, but we went for the music so it wasn't a problem. Cheap drinks. Incredible spot and plan to be back again soon.
Blue Note is a staple spot in OKC. They renovated it a couple years back, and it is a lot better now. The back patio outside has a laid back feel (mostly for people to go smoke), and inside is a nice stage, pool table, and cozy booths to sit in. Staff are nice and drinks are good. This place can get loud! They charge a cover too (at least when I’ve been) for the shows. Fun spot to watch local bands.
Christian is the best bartender I've ever had and I miss them... thank you for keeping me hydrated and being so fun to talk to! 🥹🫶🏼 I will definitley come back every time Hannah and Bailey play!
