I attended a class at Oklahoma City University and needed to find food on a break. I was delighted to find Bun Box just down the street. I ordered online and it was ready when I pulled into the drive thru. The food was fresh and tasty. The mango tea was super yummy! It's a must try spot.

I got my food to go so it was cold when I got home. Would recommend staying. I felt it needed a bit of spice. The drive through took too long for a drive up service & they had no boba for the tea. It was a Saturday afternoon. I might try it again sometime.

Made the drive up from Norman last weekend, determined to give Bun Box a try! The restaurant is tucked in a unique spot on Classen, with a walk-up window and outdoor seating. I wanted to try a little bit of everything, so my partner and I ordered a few steamed buns, a shrimp spring roll, chicken egg rolls and a lemongrass pork bún (vermicelli bowl).The steam buns were plump and tender, and the meat was packed with flavor - just could've used a little more slaw/sauce, as the bun altogether read a little dry. The spring roll was fresh and tasty, but those egg rolls? Crispy, juicy, well-seasoned, with a touch of sweetness from the vegetables - I could've downed all five (and they're less than $1 a piece!) The bún was wonderfully constructed with lots of fresh components (love the pops of fresh mint) and their house fish sauce was perfect complement. Only drawback was a few pieces of pork were fatty/tough, and the whole dish leaned sweet. I would've liked a little more acidity and/or heat to balance out the flavors. These are just minor quibbles though. All in all, the food is inspired and fresh, and I highly recommend giving it a try!
Service was fast and the concept is fantastic but the veggie spring rolls were a huge miss. It was just lettuce, noodles, and the fried, crunchy topping. The sauce that came with it was delicious but the roll was disappointing entirely. Great portion for price along with the speed of the drive thru but wish the roll wasn't so lacking. Hopefully others have had better experiences.

Here’s something I like about Bun Box. They drive thru is 100% about convenience, but it is not about lowering quality. I am happy to sit in my car as they say, “it will take 8 minutes” as opposed to “we’ve had this under a heat lamp for the past 2 hours.” The quality is always top tier. Much love Bun Box. Everything on the menu is fantastic!

I went here for the first time today. The eggrolls are wonderful and are more of a crispy thin texture sort of like an over stuffed springroll. The Bun box was very good with fresh carrots, cucumbers, noodles, mint, and a meat choice (lemongrass pork was mine). One order of egg rolls (5) and the Bun box were enough for two people. I drove through and they do online orders but not phone orders. They also do walkup orders. I really enjoyed this place. Not sure how the atmosphere is because it is outside seating.

I was visiting OKC for a work training near the Bun Box. I wish it was warmer so I could have sat in their covered patio. SO cute and absolutely delicious. I love me some Vietnamese cuisine and this satisfied my craving and even left me with some leftovers for dinner!

First time here and I say it was a winner! I got the pork rice box and the fried egg was cooked beautifully! We also LOVED the passionfruit juice. I wish they had more of a kids selection but my son was okay with his meal. My husband got the vermicelli and absolutely loved his also. We will be back only without kids next time ?

I love everything about this place. The food is THE best Vietnamese in the city. I keep telling myself I am going to try something different, but I always get the Lemongrass Pork Bun. I love the atmosphere and the beautiful patio that makes you feel like you're in a little secluded oasis in the middle of the city. So well done!

We finally had a chance to stop by and see what all the buzz has been about, and we are so happy we did. The two vermicelli bowls we got (one chicken, one pork) were so flavorful and ample. And the egg rolls were wonderful, too. Crispy and flakey on the outside, and bursting with flavor on the inside. We can't wait to come back again.
