Food was cold not much to choose from half containers was empty
Great sweet tea amazing plaze.
We had the buffet, all I can say is OMG! My husband and I are both foodies and amature chef's. We know food and this place is hands down the BEST Cajun you will find in OKC. Everything on their buffet is top shelf. Every dish is so deliciously unique you will not find it anywhere else! This will be a monthly stop for us from now on. I can't say enough about it, it is the best I've ever had!
$19.95 per person buffet price wasn't posted and buffet was the only option offered at lunch today. Lesson learned.
My God! I almost gave up on finding flavor in Oklahoma. Insert Cajun King. Let's just say I almost cried at the multitude of flavors and spices. Usually, I eat all I can eat at restaurants to make it worth while. Here, I was upset my stomach couldn't take in more. EVERYTHING was AMAZING! And the music!!! A wonderful mixture of blues and soul. The owner was so kind and accommodating. All together, this was a whole experience. Will definitely be back.
EDIT: I saw that I left this glowing review & I can not stand by these words anymore! They have totally changed. The catfish is no longer almondine & it's no where near as good as it used to be. It's just regular old fried catfish; it's really not even very good. They also cut the serving size in half for everything, including the catfish, which is fine bc I don't want to eat it anymore. They also changed the recipe in the sides; none of them taste the same. They have really fallen off. I drive by it everyday & it makes me sad to even look at. They went from being my favorite place to my least favorite. I haven't been back in over a year now so idk maybe they changed back to their old recipes. But if it's still this new stuff, you couldn't pay me to eat there. 😞 so sad.
This is literally my favorite place to eat. It used to be a buffet but now it's a menu, I'm assuming bc of covid regulations... im not sure if the buffet option will be back but that's of no matter to me bc i love the food here. I used to eat here every other day for a couple of years! Seriously, I just craved it! Then i had to move away from OKC for about 3 years & I missed it everyday. The man & woman who might be the owners (they have been there everyday for at least 5 years) are very nice too & i appreciate spending my money on a local biz. I never leave comments or reviews & I decided to leave this one so everyone will know they are missing out if you don't come try it.
OMG. So good. I want this couple to adopt me, or let me leave there. I do not like bread pudding, I had 2 servings and would have had more but was on my way to making myself sick.
Love their catfish

Service was very pleasant but the food was not good at all.
As you step into the establishment it's like you're stepping into the French Quarter.
You are greeted with the normal dialect of a true Creole couple.
The food was wonderful and authentic.
Their attention to detail was stellar I would encourage everyone to enjoy their fine cuisine

This is the best Cajun food in OKC. It is family owned and operated. We have been eating here since it opened.

Great little place. The family that owns it is kind and attentive. The catfish is brought fresh to the table with a buffet meal. Some of the best catfish I've ever had. And, catfish is a food group for me. You have to try the blackened pork chops on the buffet. They're always tender and very tasty. I've been going here for years.

We ate buffet. A pretty good selection. I had the etufe, catfish, blackened fish and pork chops, fried catfish, fried chicken, frog legs, Mac and cheese. My favorite was catfish, they brought you a fresh plate to your table. The owner was super nice, Did not charge my Uncle for a tea. The buffet was $ 20. I thought that was reasonable considering the amount of different meat and seafood available. Some may say that is too high, but you pay for what you get and with food prices sky high I understand. They got to make a living like everyone else.
