Just stopped at Carl’s for my second time. Have a taste for a Chicago style Italian beef. There was only one table with two customers at 5:45 on a Thursday night. I stood at counter for about seven minutes until I walked over to the edge of it, and the lady in the kitchen saw me. She then said I’ll be out there in a minute, when she came out, I ordered. Been waiting 40 minutes for 2 beef sandwiches and French Fries. Meanwhile they keep taking orders with no food going out. I know they have a sign saying everything is made to order and is not fast food. But this is ridiculous. Beef sandwich was cold.
$40.00 for cold food!
Do better or sell to someone who knows what they are doing!
Food was so good that it made me want to visit Chi-town!
